Include the cost of sound proofing the building

On the question of safety for pedestrians and bikes, in particular around schools and at night: I wish somebody had mentionned that cars are the ones that are heavy, go too fast, believe that they own the streets (all of the streets).

A key thing here is that they don't discuss the reserves they hold. The financial reports for 2022-23 (last year) show a reserve of $18 Million when the budget is $77.5 Million for spending. 23% in reserves is very high. Moreover, the budget for this year is such that one can expect at least $3 Million more to be added to the reserves by the end of this school year.

What exactly does "Do your children attend Los Altos school" mean? Are you only interested in LASD parents? Are you limiting your concern to parents of children who attend a school within Los Altos city limits (excluding familes who attend Springer, Mt. View High School, Cupertino Middle, Homestead High, private)? From the responses, it seems you are interested in parents with children stats. Perhaps next time a better question would be - do you have children? Or are there students in your household?
