I actually was able to rattle in my first buck last year! Hunted for 5 years (2019 - present day) and finally was able to do it on November 15. It was a cool experience to see him come in from the thicket and start making a scrape. Wasn't the biggest buck in the area, but an 8 pointer that happened to come around. Other than that, never had anything else work. Will try again this year. Good luck to everyone hunting!

Good information. I’ve done exactly this and it works good. 40 yds from scrape downwind and the smaller bucks came in at 10-20yds.

Great info. Here in way up NY I've had 2 bow hunts and am tagged out. I was fortunate to shoot a nice buck on Oct 14 as he hit a mock scrape.
