I did the same when I introduced a small male to my big female's tank... only in reverse. For two days, she bounced off the outside, while he bounced off the inside. After three days of it, she stopped... and I let him loose inside her tank. They then paired and mated repeated, with no fry as a result. Later... I once spotted her flirting with him.

Those tanks are over stocked and cloudy indicating a bacterial bloom, you should add live plants to help balance the tank, probably something that grows quickly and is hardy like jungle val, that would also allow you to do less water changes and would look a lot better too

do not buy top filter instead ise canister filtter it just waste of money it flow disturb fish they cant able to swim canister filter cleaning quality is better and it electrical bill is also low

Sorry for your loss. Sometimes these fishes have some kind of internal disease or immunodeficiency disease which is very hard to notice. Sometimes assimilation also result in unexpected consequences. Nothing can be done about it. Those goldies looks cute and beautiful. I used to keep lot's of goldies as a kid. Goldie's are more resilient and hardy fish. What's the bigger one type in your goldies tank?

Well done, anytime these treatments work, the fishkeeper has used initiative and good judgement. I used a common medication for saltwater tank, apparently you are meant to add a much smaller dosage for saltwater but the instructions on the bottle never said that, and I wiped out the tank. Those instructions should have been on the bottle. As it clearly states “for fresh and saltwater” on the label, but no instructions for different dosages. Been very scared of external parasite treatments since.

I have a single parrot fish which I've given a home as it was to aggressive for his previous owner, he's in a tank of his own and seems happy, feeds from my hand but attacks when I clean his tank. I've put in a fake fish with him which he bullied for a while. He's a beautiful fish and I love him to bits.
