Santa Cruz V10 going down Crank It Up at Whistler Bike Park
มุมมอง 1452 ปีที่แล้ว
Rented a v10 MX from Evolution Whistler. First time at Whistler. I used to be so scared at jumps. Took a lesson and the coach fixed the problem for me. Still not ready for A line yet but had tons of fun at Crank it up.
Sea Otter Enduro Stage 3 on Santa Cruz Megatower

Same route as stage 3 at Sea Otter 21. Different than what shows on Trailforks. It’s just Trail #82 all the way. I went the wrong way in the middle. That exit will be taped in the race. Lots of pedaling right from the start.. A bit steep/tech section in the later half.
Sea Otter Enduro Stage 2 on Santa Cruz Megatower

In the official race the start was a bit further back. But this shows most of the challenging section. It’s Trail #50 South. It needs a lot of pedaling. A XC bike or a hardtail is probably better.
Mile sessions at Pacifica

Doing some sessions of the most steep/scary part of Mile trail at Pacifica. For some reason I was more intimidated by the it than last time. This is the only clean run of the day.

Had a low side crash at Thunderhill East turn 14. I did at least five things wrong at that corner.

Santa Cruz Mailbox run (before the rock garden)
adding throttle while already running way wide and missing the apex... not great
Strava :(
Rushing direction. Happens to the best of us. You were on the throttle way too early with too much LA.
over slowed on entry that set up everything else resulting in crash
Adding throttle and lean angle leads to motorcycle expenses.
Yeah spot on, in my view. Sounds like he's aware of it at least :-)
