    For the lines call sport master and they sell line primer. It seals the lines and makes the lines super sharp. Also if you buy sport masters paint they sell acrylic resurfacer and you apply it with a squeegee, it will make the surface smooth. It uses silica sand. It also couple thousand dollars but it lasts much longer and it will look much better.

      There are a couple comments where guys are getting stuck on ‘Get one from a neighbor’. That is not what I recommend as the solution, it just happened to be what worked for me. The take away is to buy a quality OEM replacement and not trust a new carburetor just because it is new. Here is the link to the video about the carburetor pin. th-cam.com/video/IHp-ZrtFfks/w-d-xo.htmlfeature=shared

    My money is on the intake manifold. Air infiltration after the carb/ before the cylinder will reduce your fuel ratio, that's why it ran better when you choked it manually.

    The problem with the Chinese carbs is the pilot jet. With no load, the pilot jet isn't supplying enough fuel. These carbs are most likely jetted for a smaller engine. Under load, the carb pulls fuel through the main jet and it smoothes out. Either try your luck with another Amazon carb, or buy a set of micro drill bits and slowly open the pilot jet until it runs better

    So buying a new carburetor is NOT the answer, but rather the solution is to get one from the neighbor. What do I do if my neighbor doesn't have an extra carburetor for my to try on my mower?

    • @shirtandtieguy6768
      @shirtandtieguy6768 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      As I said in the video, just make sure you are buying a quality replacement product. A new carburetor doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a fully functioning carburetor, is the lesson I learned from this experience.

    • @moparscot9271
      @moparscot9271 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I know this is old but typically that is an idle/pilot jet issue on the carb causing surging. Bottom line is the carb needs cleaned and jets cleaned too. If it dies after 5-10 minutes that is usually a fuel supply issue. Check flow from the tank to the carb.

    I love my Kempo, have well over 20,000 miles on it including riding the full Erie Canal Bike Trail with it. Aside from flat tires (inevitable) the only problem I ever had with it was the bottom bracket wore out after a few thousand miles so I had to replace that. Otherwise fantastic bike for the price. Great entry level touring bike.
