Pile 1: i was always shushed. Always. I do it to everyone around me pretty much. I heard it so often as a child that I went deaf. I'm 42 now and I JUST got hearing aids for the first time last month. They hurt my ear cannals... Anyway, always hushed, shushed. 🤫 Be quiet, don't make any noise. And now I i can't stand noise. So much so that I have panic attacks with too much noise and I isolate because its quieter. And as a Libra, 'cutting to the truth, the power you've always had, values are your guide' Well, the big thing in my life right now is trying to figure out what to do about my ex(?) partner. He broke up with me two and a half months ago mostly because of my mental illness making me unable to function. We'd been together for eleven and a half years. It kicked me into finally getting an intervention of intensive therapy (an outpatient day treatment program), doing the entire DBT workbook by myself, and getting on new medication. All of it has changed my life for the better and I have more goals to come but I really wish he could see and acknowledge that I've mended the problem that was making us unhappy and unable to live the lives we wanted. I want him to come back, say he missed me, to have his light back in my life. Our relationship was very good, no abuse, no cheating, talking almost every day, having long discussions, sharing a ton of hobbies and interests, aligned future etc. It was just that he couldn't communicate very well (I was good about being able to read him but obviously not perfect) and my mental health not letting me get or keep a job. We kinda took each other for granted after so long, too, which is normal. We hit thirty and he had a crisis and cut me out to try to pursue his own life. Doing no direct contact right now, but with a monthly meeting that's supposed to foster friendship and support but usually just makes us upset. The first month he was jaded and depressed, the second month he was bitter. I don't know what to expect this month, in two weeks. The first month I was desperate and needy, the second month I was bargaining. I still feel needy and want to prove to him all of what I've done. I don't think anyone else would come close to being 'the one' for me. I just don't want to give up on a second chance, and I'm trying to do this self growth for myself, but he's the unknown, so it ends up feeling like my work may not be enough if I can't just convince him There's also a factor that he might transition. I don't know the details because I can't talk to him and he's very quiet online. I wish I could help him so badly with it and I have a lot of complicated feelings regarding if that happens. I think he also replaced me with his roommate, using them as support and best friend and going on outings that aren't dates but close. Whereas I have no 'best friend' to talk to, just some casual friends and trying to make new ones because my social circle was all tied with him and I don't want anyone to have to 'take a side' (which he said he accidentally did to his roommate, anyways, who was my closest friend after him) So... I looked a little more to double check the cards. Ace of Swords means success and breakthroughs? Magician being tapping into potential? Hierophant means tradition, marriage, advice, morals? I know I shouldn't take this so seriously but man... I hope it means breakthrough and success and potential and all that as in something good about my relationship. I want to share my dang life with him now that I'm on a path of healing and bettering myself. He's in therapy, too. I hope it doesn't mean breakthrough as in we end it for good LMAO ;-;

Anyway, spark notes of the situation (sorry, it's still long 😅): I've been having troubles with my friend of 15 years, and I'd been struggling to figure out if I even wanted to try to save the relationship (especially since I have a very small friend group). The issues are ones that have come up before, but I dealt with by myself because no one else was having problems. Stuff happened that made the situation worse, and it feels like I don't have much time to decide what to do next. However, I've been talking to two other friends (one of whom I have also been friends with for a long time, but only recently started reconnecting with more) who have seen the behaviors I've been complaining about and are helping do sanity checks for me (since I worry a lot about making a big deal out of nothing). I've been making plans to hang out with them more (and some of their other friends even!) which has felt like a step forward since making friends is tough for me
