Can this be used as a brick stain?

I’ve got a restoration project in my lap using M90 to repair a failing ceiling in a historical architectural masterpiece on one of the islands off the Washington coast…The scope is a 12 x 12’ concrete ceiling, that was poured over cedar branches to give it that cavey fossilish look…my question is can I use my M90 to repair the failed areas and imprint the live mortar with pressed in cedar sprigs, with that method in mind can I use a peanut butter coat on the exterior of the patches where I need a lower viscosity of material to acquire the detail I need?
