Why would you not record the process of the bumper being removed?

I visited the offical Audi service few months ago to do a 7 speed s tronic transmission service (oil and filter) for a4 b9 2016. and they replaced the oil. I asked if filter is replaced and they told me that it is not needed. Is this correct, and what should i do? Btw. everything works fine in this moment with the transmission.

Just remove the body pan, cut out a ~5x5” door under the drain plug, leaving one side for a hinge and add a small latch; if the door is too small, oil will drain-out into the body pan so plan ahead before cutting. After replacing the pan just drop the door to change the oil in the future.

I'm confused, I have Audi A5 7.11.2016 2.0 Tfsi S tronic Quattro keynr: 0588-BIW00018 and my S tronic Gearbox have no filter , I just ordered complete kit together with sump and everything that need to be replaced but have no filter . Is European model. I also replaced Haldex oil and didn't see any filter. Gearbox code is 0G7

So guys, it's necessary or not to deactivate the pump before draining the oil? Thnx in advance

Hi ,i have the same car exactly but suddenly the gear box doesnt respons it moves fine but doesnt changing gears bit with both paddlshaft i change gears the absolutely drive very good ,i dignosed the nothing showing can you plz help whats the problem might be . thank so much

Hi. I d‘ont understand the first step of cleaning. You spray the foam in front of the blower in low speed and then high speed? So the foam has the chance to go in all the spaces of the blower? Is that right?

You never showed the drain plug. This car is confusing some have metal bolts, some have Torx and some have this plastic with a wierd key. So what kind of drain bolt was it?

I strongly recommend spending $80 to $100 on an oil vacuum extractor and suck the oil out through the dipstick. It saves have to jack up the car and remove all those screws on the bottom pan. Plus you don’t have to remove the drain plug and deal with all of that mess. You can remove all the oil ……… first time I did it, I did pull the drain plug just to see if it missed any oil. The vacuum method gets everything.

Best way to broke/crack the coil pack connector clip, just use your fingers it won’t hurt Don’t use any pliers or hard tools to those fragile things... just not try to break parts like these
