Is it just me, or is there something quite romantic about the wind? Against the backdrop of the ruins at Godwick, with David in his kilt and Olivia wearing her veil, getting a bit wild and windswept seemed like the perfect vibe. I'd heard so many great things about Godwick Barn before I shot there, and somehow, it was even better!

In what was quite a wet summer, Kerry and Alex got a real stroke of luck with all this sun! They married in their village church, and then back to a marquee in the garden for a relaxed and joyful celebration. Bonus mention to their lovely little dog!

This pair smiled from ear to ear literally all day - exactly what I love to see! And who can blame them, sharing a love like this *chef's kiss~

I've travelled down to Essex quite a few times over the years - and this is where it began! Lucy and Craig set high standards for the county, with emotive personal vows, and hilarious and heartfelt speeches and a banging dancefloor. Good on ya, Essex! I'll come back any time.

Harlaxton Manor has the wow factor as soon as you turn down the driveway. Those turrets! And inside the chapel, and the conservatory! Pop these two sweethearts inside, and we were onto a winner!

At Holemwood Hall, near Peterborough, Emma and Phil held their outdoor ceremony on what I think was the first hot day of the year. Drinks on the terrace, games in the gardens, sparklers and surprise fireworks to boot. And then to dancefloor! This pair had a jam-packed day in the best way.

Nestled deep in the countryside in Cumbria, a stone's throw from the Lake District, sits Hidden River Barn. I was lucky enough to take an associate job there for Honey & Heather. But Frankie May Weddings, aren't you in Norwich? Isn't that a long way from Carlisle? Yes, but 1) I'll go anywhere (depending on where, travel fees may apply) and 2) I'm from Cumbria originally and perpetually homesick...

Another great day was had by all at one of my all-time faves - Swancar! Grace and Charlie married in the upstairs gallery and celebrated with a personalised and fun-filled party, with all the laughs and a few happy tears too. Smashed it!

Another visit down to Essex this summer, for these two sweethearts, and my first time at Friern Manor. Hopefully not my last, with the house and gardens giving us a fab backdrop for the celebrations.

Charlotte and Quinlan married at the Ffolkes Stable in Norfolk, on a rainy day that came good just in time for their outdoor ceremony in the courtyard. Beer pong, a champagne spray, and a golden hour walk through the long grass - perfection!

Katherine and Ross had a woodland wedding ceremony at Mapperly Farm in Derbyshire - and what a day! The sun shone, the laughs pealed, and maybe Ross was nearly dropped on the floor... But sometimes those are the best memories! * A photo-and-video booking with @wolfandstrapphotography1835

I'm a Swancar-evangelist at this point - I turn down that iconic driveway and I know I'm going to have a great day. And with a couple like this, who can blame me? And maybe the best confetti I've ever seen!

Georgia and Jake married at Morley St Peter's Church, and held their reception at Morley Old Hall in the beautiful Norfolk countryside. From the alfresco tablescape, to the parade of supercars, to the stunning sunset, they celebrated in style!

I'm not shy about telling people how much I love filming weddings at Swancar Farm, near Nottingham, and Emily and Ryan's wedding was another grand day out!
