@@thegrizzlymasterofficial the camera setup is pretty cool though. its not the quietness, its the volume of the music relative to the voices. If it was easy to turn up the volume without music blasting it ears it wouldnt matter as much IMO. pretty solid setup overrall.

Yes you are correct, however when I’m teaching new players I allow the rule of cool so they can learn their player abilities. Yes after the game session is over we cover more rules but in the moment to allow them to be the heroes it’s ok to allow them to operate in the rule of cool and allow them the amazing moment of taking down a BBEG in a spectacular way. All about having fun at the table.

@@thegrizzlymasterofficial As a new player being told they can Turn Undead as an attack of opportunity is just doing them a disservice when they try to do the cool thing with another DM. New players should be even more RAW until they know the game and then you can start rule of cooling. Plus, Turn Undead as an Attack of Opportunity is a major power creep. Would you let a new Wizard cast fireball as an Attack of Opportunity?

@@Black6Six depending on the moment yes I would. If the player asked me and it fell under my homebrew rule of cool then yes it would. Again as I stated above I go over the full rules after the session so they know the rules as written. Also it is also made clear to my players the difference in my homebrew rules and rules as written and what I allow may not be the same as another DM. It’s not a disservice if it’s made clear from the get go.

I definitely don’t always nail it on the head with narrating lol. I stumble and stutter at times over my words but practice makes perfect! Definitely have a lot of videos and will keep posting more!
