i wrote this song in true dirtbag musician fashion: after blasting “between the Bars” by elliott smith on repeat and passing out drunk (you know the vibes). i dreamt that i was back in my childhood bedroom; when i woke up, still feeling as small, i bled all those emotions out on this song. “oh, oh” is a song that weaves in and out of dreams and reality, intertwining the past and the present together with a haunting heaviness. Oftentimes the past is too blurry and complicated to unravel, that all you can say is sigh and say “oh, oh.”
