old maplestory is the thing, bosses were hard to down so you need to be socialise to get friends BL for assisstance. unlike present maplestory all an solo,PQ so less people.

I play on GMS and often I find myself fed with how repetitive a lot of the game is. It's an eternal grind, yet you people took the grindest and slowest age of the game and made it a dedicated server forever stuck in that time frame. Just why?
It's just a preference thing. I've played GMS for many years (first played in 2007) and I personally find Old School to be way more enjoyable than the current GMS
With so many events and shit out now, gms is basically a private server especially if ur on reboot
I used to play EMS a lot too, during my teenagehood. I've started playing the oldschool maple to see how it was like and... well, yea, there's lack of damage which bothers me because I got so used to oneshotting monsters and bosses. it makes soloing things tiresome, which for the modern maple just isn't a thing. but tbh with u, I find the oldschool a lot more enjoyable. modern maple has too many events and things happening at the same time it just sucks a lot. u also have to lvl up TOO MANY mules just to raise your main's status. sure it helps, but it's tiring. old maple is straightforward, slowpaced, but this way u can actually see how the game is like and explore it freely, not focusing in daily quests or event quests, or whatever is thrown at you in the UI when u open the game. that's why I like old maple more, no mandatory events, no mandatory daily quests or side stuff to do that's timegated. in old maple u can play whenever u want, the character u want, it's totally different from modern maple.

Actually it doesn’t, all a bs should do at zk is dispell and HS, gen doesn’t make a big difference plus gives a little lag sometimes
