Hi, I have a friend who is a Christian witch and she believes that God and his angels are talking to her and loving on her. But I think they are demons, because they say doing witchcraft is okay. Can demons really be that deceptive to be able to appear as angels of light AND love on people.
from Pastor Kerhoulas...The answer to the question is yes! When Satan comes to Jesus in the wilderness he appears to be concerned about his well being. But he is not! Satan is wise and he knows how to manipulate... take for example Judas. He is the one who is in charge of the money. He loves money more than anything or anyone. When he decided it was time to betray Jesus, Satan enters him and leads Judas to the high priest where he will negotiate the price for selling Jesus out. Individuals who have an inordinate love for the wrong things, are fair game for the evil ones to exploit. They hear and see things, but what they experience is not of God. Unbelievers can become victims of the demonic. When I was in seminary I met a young man who was involved in the occult. He did things that haunted him. He took his life. Satan comes to steal, kill and destroy...Jesus came to bring an abundant life. John 10:10. So yes, Satan does appear to individuals in lots of different ways.
