100 mm. is out of range. Also, we are afraid we do not recommend for using cutter to creatures and foods due to risk of water coming inside the machine. You could also ask us questions from our contact form in our HP.

Carbon FRP is cuttable depends on the percentage of contained fiber in plastic, but cutting speed is slow. We are afraid we have not cut Tamiya's carbon FRP.

Please allow us to reply to you in English. The cutter might lose its sharpness because soft rubber absorbs ultrasonic vibration. It changes depends on the rubber's hardness.

There are some reasons, but ZO series price is cheapest model in Japan. We are sure it worths to get for most modelers. 😎

Is your "tree" means a big tree like growing in forest? We are afraid we only handle compact size tool. To cut tree, it needs more currency and big sized blade.

@@Echotechoverseaschannel thanks for your answer, actually I was talking about big trees but I guess it would be harder to make a big enought ultrasonic cutter. That being said, I think the company who will be able to make it will have a big success, so maybe Echotech overseas in the future ? :)

@@Ayzay1717 It might costs much higher than chainsaw to produce same sharpness level, now. As you said in future, if technology has develop and parts cost decreases, we might able to produce. : )

The answer is both. Blade vibrates high speedily(40kHz/ 40,000 times in per second), and friction heat generates on surface when it contact to plastic. Blade doesn't get heat when it's not contacting to material.

Thank you for your comment! If you see just surface of wax, cutting section melts and it looks like cutting with just vibration and friction heat. However, the central part inside cube is more hard and it's certainly cutting with blade power.
