Haha of course I remember you Barb! Where have you been?! So the giramondos no longer seemed my size so I sold them and focused on my A5 and B5 planners. But they were beautiful!

Im definitely going to try out the toscana leather but going to make a small purchase first. And i think from what i heard that itll be worth it. I havent owned a toscana her but ill let you know or make a video on it as soon as i get it!

Thank you! Where as I love to use A5 planners, It is a large notebook to carry so I always keep it at home. If you’re going to be carrying it outside of the house I would recommend trying the B6 out first. what I like to do is cut out two sheets of paper in the sizes that I want to try and try filling them out. that helps me determine which size I would like best! I hope that helps! ♥️

@@ModPlans I love the A5 size notebooks. I have a Stalogy A5 as my edc. I’m just curious as to the weight difference since I carry a backpack with me everywhere anyway.

If you love the A5 like me then you’d absolutely love love the B5 😃! In terms of the weight I guess its slightly more than the A5 to be honest because the cover i use is very very lightweight. The only concern id have when carrying this would be the size! Hope that helps! You should definitely try the B5 though 😅 it’s a delight for A5 size lovers in my opinion!

I bought her B5 Managers and cannot wait to use it. It will be my catch all (minus work--since I bought the AE B6 for next year I am flip flopping and will be using that one for work…I’m a teacher)

Thank you kindly! I am a stay at home mom and a remote employee so I am at home most of the time and thats why I love big planners, because my main planning happens at home as well. I only go out for errands or meet family/ friends so I use a smaller EDC that doesnt overwhelm me. I will do a video on it soon!

I think its based on preference, when I started this notebook - for me - it was a two part experiment - One to see if id like to bujo my own layout and two if id like the size Also there were no planners in the market in B5 so i went the bujo route. Considering if there were planners, id prefer to get the planner with pre-made layouts. If you think ull be using up more than one notebook or would like to use the calendar separately- go for it, for me .. I like a good all-in-one xx

Iv never actually come across someone who doesn’t like the common planner yet - but no, the reason i went to a common planner was because it suits my needs to have undated notes pages at the back than dated daily pages. Sterlingink has actually improved a lot of things I personally didnt like about hobonichis, their sanzen paper for example. Most my pens are bleeding through the new hobonichi paper and they dont bleed through the new planners in the market, including the common planner or the paper tess planner. But of course i hope you’re happy using the cousin 😊

Strange comment

It’s a better version of the Cousin in a lot of ways because there’s more room with the lack of quotes, none of the wasted pages in the back, and has a bunch of calendars/quarterly pages set up that a lot of ppl use. I like the Cousin, but I prefer the Common Planner.

Thank you! Yes I use a dot zig marker (thicker end) to make my headers, i found that a dot marker is darker than tombows and writes cleaner - yes its trp paper 😊

Yess the paper tess design planner has a very white crisp trp paper!

You are welcome! My personal wide inserts were all digital printables and i used to print cut them myself. Once the planner is set up - the process gets easier, this is one of the reasons why I later on switched to a personal because shops carry that size more but i believe some well known shops now do offer personal wide as well! Carrying this planner wasnt heavy especially if you are using a medium size bag, im used to carrying an A5 now!

Thank you!! The VDS does seem narrower yes! For the leather - yes to soft and pliable but very different from Gillios epoca / its not butter but its mayte and goes to extremely shiny once patina’d. I think it’s beautiful!!

Its from a shop called Daiso - they have outlets worldwide, I have used Daiso copy A4 paper but you can also buy tomoe river paper (loose sheets on Amazon instead too)
