Hello and thank you for asking, I think if you have either 8 inch or 12 inch screen you can upgrade to this screen to have the android auto or CarPlay function, you should verify with the vendor but I think as long as you have the correct knob either square or round it should work, but please do verify with the vendor to be sure. And you are right about not explaining what type of charger to use and which not to use. I have used both the regular charger to charge my phone as well as the fast charger for my phone and both have worked. I do not think I will try the USB C that my laptop has because I think it will be too much, maybe not, but like you mentioned, I do not want to break my light. If you do, try something other than I have mentioned please share. Best to you.

Hello and thank you for asking, I do not have the manual but I still have the unit, the red blinking light is an indicator that the battery is low, when you plug it to charge it, is going to keep flashing red until it stops then you know it is fully charged. I am glad you still have the charger becase it is unique. I hope that helps, Best to you.
