no comment needed - just out of sight cool. their music speaks for itself endlessly.
Yeah, the man was pure Music .. such a loss!!!!
the groove. the GROOVE. wow.
addendum... bass with his feet. BASS WITH HIS FEET!
over the top hip and cool jazz that comforts you and sends you on a journey with the ease of grandmasters - floating - floating - floating
Quand Birelli remplace Mac Laughlin au pied levé,.,..
Larry Carlton shows that he’s a world class comper. Such beautiful chord choices and a sublime groove.
Saw Joey not long before he passed. So good.
I miss Joey and his music so much. So glad that I had opportunities to meet him.
❤️🔥❤
Very goooood.... 👏👏👏🍷👀
What inspiring musicians all all around, lots of fun. Why is this titled Umbria 2022? Martino passed in 2021
Robots will never be this good.
I'M DYING PLEASE HOLY SHIT WTF DEAD MAN HAHAHAHA SO FUCKING SICK HAHAHAHA
He does this thing where he "overblows" the hammond leslie thingy and it's so fucking sick. God bless this audio engineer.
Stop... stop making me cry... stop... hold up... wayduhminute... consider me killed softly with his words... why tf?.. stop... nope... stop... forever stop it.
RIP Quincy Jones
Thank you for posting this. I have always loved Joey's playing. I didn't know he was a brother in Christ as well. This was a blessing and a great way to kick off my day! I'm so sorry for your loss, Gloria. But we have an eternal hope in our Lord and Savior. In Christ we abide, that one day we all may unite in our Father's house. You will see him again! God bless you!
04:53 Que rico 😊
Look who is standing behind. Jesus Molina. Another legendary keyboardist.
wheres that awesome bass player? haha
Wow, wow it´s Joey himself. No one can get to him. He is awesome, the greatest Hammond Player. I´ll miss him so much. I have met him personally at the Musikmesse Frankfurt a few years ago, he is a very normal an likeable person. Great respect. Chapeau!!!! RIP in then Hammond heaven.
Joey and Byron-tight as! Beautiful music, fabulous players
The bass player is a bad cat 😂
Who is Alvin Lee?
Everlasting masterful ~*
is there anything Joey couldn't do on the organ - he did it all and then some.
Bestial😅
Huge loss to the musical world especially those that love the Hammond organ. His ability reached farther into the stratosphere...
The moving camera :(
Three very fine musicians...no doubt about it.
Joey, Rip, venne a Torino con Miles Davis ai punti verdi. Indimenticabile
I would much much prefer a piano over that organ but very nice playing all around
You should get a better sound out of that organ.. he loves that modern equipment, that's why it sounds like a cheap accordion
It would help if you turn the organ on when you're showing us those bass runs
This video changed my life many years ago. Thank you for the inspiration and love to us all, Joey!!!!
How in the he'll could he hear all those riffs beats me.wow RIH
Gone from this Earth but his music lives on. Never ever be another Joey on this side of heaven.
Joey caught the Holy Ghost on this one he was feeling it. RIH
Had Mozart lived these days, his name would have been Joey.
He brought it back!
I’ve met two people in this video!
Very good ensemble indeed. Wally's is a terrific place to listen to great live music, one of the temples of great music in the States.. First local owned by black folks in the USA, truly iconic. I don't quire know how is it that it is not included in Boston leisure guides yet. I've been there once, most of peformers are students from nearby Berkley, so, you can imagine the level we are talking about here. Great atmosphere, incredible cocktails, and, beautiful ladies, too. It has it all. Thank you for posting.
This lady Ms. Emily Remier is real awesome. Thank you for posting.
Joey was a shadow of his future self in this video.
Miss him greatly😢
One of the great jazz pieces, wonderful treatment by this first rate group.
