I always thought Sally feels so pretty but the way she acted towards Bert Reynolds Was kind of cold man She really knows how to hold the grudge wow😮😅

This is great I just only wish that the screen would have been bigger to see better

Forget the missing footage from The Magnificent Ambersons. Smokey Is The Bandit is the real treasure I want to see.

Bought it today. The boxset is GREAT. But… they should have included you on “Man Who Loved Women.” It’s a shame they didn’t get it, but Sony has always been a turd to deal with. My father is 81, doesn’t have my comic sensibilities at all, and even he thought your contributions on the other discs were hilarious and fun.

Just watched Rosie O'Donnell interview Burt and he really perked up with surprise when she claimed to love this movie. I cannot fault her. Its a real fun time. Although White Lighting is grittier I do prefer this one. Especially with Jerry Reed's enjoyable turn as a villain. Love this channel. Its the best.

I was 8 years old when I went to go see this at the movie theater. I tell you, if not for TH-cam, I don't think anyone else would remember it. This was a great movie for an 8-year-old boy. Whatever remember about it is seen Coors beer. I live on the east coast. I grew up on the East Coast. I had never heard of that beer before, until I saw it in this movie. Years later they moved east, and became a normal site at our grocery stores. But I remember the Coors was not here, simply because I remember seeing a product in a movie that I had never seen before in 1978. But then again, now that I think of it, he was running Coors beer in Smokey and the bandit. I guess I just didn't notice it when I was watching Smokey and the bandit at age 7. But the time I remember seeing it was in this movie.

It's heartbreaking to know that to know she was the love of his life nobody knows what happens behind closed doors. 😢 But clearly you can tell he was heartbroken 😔 he doesn't speak about any of the other women like he does about Sally. They would have made a beautiful couple better than anyone else he dated. 😮 But I am shocked with how cold-hearted she was towards him makes you wonder what was going on behind closed doors how hard was it on her? Sometimes you love someone so much you have to let them go but that doesn't mean you stop loving them and I believe that's how Bert felt about Sally

I saw a doc where Burt actually hated Cannonball Run. He did it as a favor to Hal Needham and was only in a couple of close up scenes his double did the rest of the movie. Also it was Jackie Chans first western film and a top Hollywood stunt woman was seriously injured on that picture.

Awesome stuff. A clear second to Smokey and the Bandit in the Reynolds Needham canon, Hooper's a great film and James Best is a great bonus.

Somewhere years ago I saw a version of this movie that had this particular clip in it. It is not however on the DVD.

Hello Gator, heres a idea for a future episode, Burt Reynolds Toys includ8ng the custom made action figures, in the eighties a great selection of collectors toys were released including cars from Smokey and Cannonball films, these were great piaces of memorabilia for fans of the films and today are great collectable piaces to add to any collection.

I just re-watched your review. Top-notch! While this is the absolutely worse 007 movie I really hated each and everyone that Craig made. They might be considered ok as action movies but they don't have anything at all to do with Bond. And killing off 007🤡. To make sure he was really dead he was 1 poisoned 1 shot in his gut 3 blown up🤡. It's like they really hates the 007 movies and needed to ruin everything for those of us who followed the earlier real Bond movies. They obviously hate and detest us. And about Craig as 007, I even prefer Barry Nelson (in the tv version) to Craig. George Lazenby is of course forgiven. I even appreciate Dalton as Bond. He wasn't really as bad compared to what would come in the last few years. Ok, I might consider Craig as a slightly better Bond than Peter Sellers & Woody Allen. But there I draw the line. The last Bond movie was nothing but a joke. I also stoped eating my Broccoli. I used to tell my kids: if you don't finish your brocolli there will be no more Bond movies. No more Brocolli for me🤬

That's a good fight actually. I'm a stunt man in Hollywood as well. More so, fights and choreography. Not leaping off buildings. The fight gets across the riff between the two characters. Short fights like this always makes things interesting. This is a gem. Doesn't matter that the audio wasn't synced properly.
