Season 2 was so bad I did not even finish it. Season 1 was the best cartoon I have ever seen tho. Thank you for bringing this up i can't stant ignorant fanboys who will defend bad writing of season 2 just cos its LoL.

All the folks say that people who liked season 2 “lack crticial thinking “are hilariously lacking self awareness. The real lack of nuance is thinking that something being not as good as season 1 means it “sucks”. Arcane season 2 may not be as good as season 1, newsflash, most things aren’t…but it’s till a strong show that hits on a lot of emotional beats. You can hate folks for “overhyping” or “glazing” the show..but there are far too many who think they’re smarter than others cause they don’t like something. There is far worse circle jerking in this comment section amongst folks who think they are super big brained cause they didn’t like this season as much as most people did.

This might be the worst review i have ever seen in my life. U say that he wouldn’t hurl personal comments at someone for disagreeing with u, yet u say people who enjoyed episode 7 “draw my little pony characters in crayon” like what u contradict yourself after like 20 seconds. U claim that ur criticism is not nitpicks yet ur first critiques are literally nitpicks titled season 1 nitpicks. U say that the problem with disagreeing with u is not that it hurts ur feelings before immediately saying everyone else is wrong if they disagree like what! U also made a section at the start of the vid talking about hate comments like u r clearly hurt by them (u also talk about public opinion lots so it’s clearly important to u). If u had just made this vid with the criticism then it would be bad, but the fact that u insulted the audience who enjoyed this season puts this shitty review over the edge. There are many shows that I think are objectively bad which have massive fanbases who love the show. That doesn’t mean i insult their intelligence and call them children. U can talk about the faults of a show no problem, but don’t be a dickhead and make fun of anyone who doesn’t share ur opinion. I hope you become better as a person in the future because this shit ain’t right mate.

There was no sense of location really. It looked more like scenes were put here and there to fill some exposition time rather than to tell a compelling story. For example, the scene where Jayce falls into a hole on the ground and takes ages to get back up again, it didn't bring anything to the show at all. It was there just to extend time.

Echo was the reason why the main timeline didn’t get taken over by Victor and if Heimerdinger didn’t sacrifice himself, echo wouldn’t have made it back. You are an absolute gooner. 11:21 FINALLY!! Finally someone talks about what a bad character Isha is! (if she can even be called a charecter) Thank you!! Isha is not her own character. Her design is to represent ANOTHER charecters-Mylo and Claggor, and he whole existence is to represent Powder. She's just a plot device and the only thing that makes her look just a little like a charecter is that she has a personality, but she doesn't have all the other things that makes the character a charecter.

arguably the worst part about this season is that it did not focus enough on one of the series' main themes, sisterhood. like my problem is not that the show tried to make Vi and Jinx reconcile despite how unlikely it seemed after everything they've been through and done wrong to each other but that it to make them shake hands in a rushed manner and then proceeds to make it all about how much that plot-device Isha means to Jinx as if she doesn't f-ing die in the sixth episode for the sake off shock-value causing Jinx to be hit by a ton of bricks worth of angst and trauma and in the finale leave Vi to think she died so that she I dunno can go mrs worldwide and fall in love with Lux or something.

s2 felt super slow with a bunch of relationship drama that i was tempted to skip trough

I see a lot of negative comments so let me tell you, I agree with everything you mentioned. It's clear that some are nit picks but THAT'S THE TITILE OF THE VIDEO. They fumbled hard with pacing, character development, and clearly lost what made the first season work somewhere in the first half of the show. I was having more fun listening to your video than watching it. Pitty, huge letdown and a literal pain to watch for the 2nd half of the season.

The series really should have ended with the first season : at the moment when Jinx nukes the council, everything important had been said and done. But instead of ending on such a high note, we had to endure a second season that just didn't know what story it wanted to tell. The conflict between Piltover and Zaun could have been an interesting subject if it hadn't been swept under the carpet. And the relationship between Jayce and Viktor could have been the heart of the season (like Vi/Jinx in Season 1), but much more time would have had to be devoted to it.

By chance, do you know what you had to do to cause scene 4? Something about 'MateoAdmission' isnt working for me and im stuck!

for me I dont like ep 7 tbh, they should create a deep dive relationship between ekko and powder first when they are kids in s1.... i just saw them being together on music video "enemy" and the scene where they gonna fight 1v1. its uncomfortable for ME on that alt timeline that they like each other? I dont even know ekko like her?? or even powder...i dont know powder also like him?? Then they dance together then kissed.. its just felt rushed for me sorry...i dont know why they like each other??? They are very barely scene they are on the screen together? also Claggor and mylo have more scene with powder than ekko. I want to see their bond, their friendship together seeing that alt timeline doesnt sit right next to me 🥲

Glad that more and more videos are popping out where people criticize season 2 and call it trash. It was beyond just disappointing. I quit at episode 7. People call it the best episode. I call it the waste of time. When i realized what episode 7 was I just stopped. I knew they wasted time and everything would be rushed to the max in 2 episodes with a story that was already bastardized. Arcane season 2 is an insult to the league community and they also went and changed the Viktor in the game so we gotta look at that pimp of a new Viktor. Good lucky if they try to force changes in Noxus lore. P&Z no one cares about. Good luck with Noxus rito.

my problems with s2 : -way too rushed in way to many parts - ww and viktor designs are bad (im a league player so this is objective) -no consequenses for decisions(caits betrayel of vi and consequent gassing of the undercity/ vi and cait not managing to stop jynxs terror gas attack/ and more) -jynxs mental instabilities are just magically fixed, also where is her addiction problem to shimmer, the production got stopped by cait so she should have withdrawals - why is hextech so shit all of a sudden? none of the gadgets feel as impactful as in s1 -viktors plotline completely sidelined all other plotline because for some reason hes a world ending threatnow - and much more im forgetting so i can forget this shit writing even happened

Uhh sir. Do you realize shows aren’t always in chronological order? BY YOUR LOGIC IT TOOK JINK AND EKKO 5 MINUTES TO MAKE THE DAM BLIMP. Also it’s pretty obvious the footprints were Sky. When he heard voices back then the subtitles LITERALLY SAID it was Sky, and look who shows up in his head? SKY. Also it makes sense because Sky died from the Hexcore, and Viktor was revived FROM THE HEXCORE.

The sound track for season 2 SUCKS!

Give people a beautiful picture and music and they will already be shouting rave reviews, the same thing happened with Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, which in terms of plot is much worse than the first part.

It felt so much like a clip showcase rather than a show. There were barely any character moments, barely anything that makes you think, barely anything at all to dig your teeth into.

Based on the fact that the show was cut short by three episodes and an hour for episode 9, they fantastic. I think it lived up to its 9/10 ratings for every episode. I dont think ive heard anyone hate this season, makes no sense to me. As someone who has experience in film, and someone who has never played league, this show was a masterpiece. The more bad you try to find, the less youd enjoy it

Season 2 had a lot of great moments but overall it is, in fact, worse than season 1 in multiple points. The biggest problem, to me, is the fact that they opened so many things to rush it in the end

Dude im not im of the guys that say you were wrong about somethings and forget the point here but about Warwick/Vander, if you knew the lore it was obvious its him! jinx saw him as a wolf, the hound of undercity.. in the game Warwick telling Vi who thought you how to punch..etc.. he was really dead by the way.. Warwick is Frankstein's monster, a zombie of vanders shimmered body.. I was waiting for a moment i see Vander with Warwick gimmick but man, the execution was so poor.. Btw im not saying show is bad! Im just saying he being Warwick is not one of them but his Warwick's character arc is.

Brother, I’ve watched this and your previous video on season 2. Honestly when I finished it I felt empty. Just to add, I was mentally prepared for Jinx to die. (She isn’t but I don’t care after this ending) My entire problem with this season was the pacing but let’s leave that behind. After the rocket attack on Piltover, Jinx became the “Osama Bin Laden” of the Arcaneverse. Understandable everyone would be on the hunt for her. Isha was a pointless “wannabee Jinx” character that somehow was supposed to mirror Powder. (She isn’t) and Jinx is miraculously cured of her mental illnesses. (Pretty sure that doesn’t work but whatever) Vi getting depressed after Caitlyn left her was kinda silly just to make Cait/Vi shippers happy or sad. (I’m not sure but hey they got their happy ending) Because you know Jinx killed her mother and well it kinda makes sense for her to be vengeful for that. Vi is also playing the role of a sidekick to Caitlyn and is totally fine with gassing the Undercity (her and Jinx’s home) for the sole reason to find Jinx. Also joined the enforcers who killed their parents. Isha dying in the name of “saving” Jinx was the happiest thing I saw in the show. (At least for me) The magic mumbo jumbo time travelling bullshit is not worth to comment on. (You explained it enough) Honestly, I liked your review. (Also watched you getting critiqued by a somebody not even worth to bother with that) You said everything I had on my mind about the show’s ending. Arcane Season 1 was a masterpiece. Arcane Season 2 was a hollow, empty attempt to make AO3 fanfiction writers happy.

5:55 For as much as you praise season 1, I'm surprised you didn't pick up on the fact that the Kiramman family is matriarchal, as it's pretty overt even though it's never directly stated. A familial matriarchal hierarchy would then imply that inheritance can be matrilineal. We see Cait's mother hold a position of political power, keep young men away from her daughter, even brandish a firearm at a perceived intruder. We largely see Cait's dad in a supporting role, tending to wounds, serving tea, being a listening ear, keeping the house. It's very clear the Kirammans have a tradition of being a female-led family. I think I disagree with a lot of the points in this video, but not entirely. You approach this season for what could have been. And I agree that this show had a chance to be something truly special by continuing the themes from season 1 and expounding upon them. Hell, the entire first 3 episodes actually builds like that's what they originally set out to do. But we didn't get that. And for what season 2 actually is, from the perspective of a standalone series, it's still really good and a lot of your points/arguments don't hold up under scrutiny. We all had great expectations for season 2. Nitpicking isn't going to get you that version of season 2. Edit: Cutting episode 7? Are you out of your gotdanged mind?

I may dressage that Silco character wasn't destroyed. He was showed in flashback, were his character was destroyed. Let me explain. Silco it's so beloved character because he is not such monster as we stress him at the beginning of even he sees himself. So his absolutely horrifying actions is attempt of killing Vendor kids. No excuse for this. However he sees them as a teenage soldiers, so when a little girl, who he doesn't know his him he looks absolutely scared and shocked. This is why it is so freaking amazing scene. When he do not see kid as abstract, when he interacts with her - he's on a hook. He can't hurt her, he adopt her and love her more then even his dream. Even that she is crazy and Vendor's daughter. Imagine he was looking at her every day and remember that pain, his brother cause him and still loved her more then anything. This is what makes such character so deep. Now... We see Silco, who not only knew mother of Vi and Pawder, but also definitely was raising then both as an uncle, sitting to what we saw in flashback. This is absolutely BS! Silco would never be able to kill neither Vi, no Powder, if he would raise them, no matter how he hated Vendor. Period. And Vi was pretty grow when their parents died so Silco should be around 7-8 years. So they literally made him psychopath who is ready to kill his nieces just because his baaaad. FTS! Also they try to whitening Vendor but writing this stupid letter, which shows that Vendor was in affect mode, which is bs, because we know from season 1 if was planned murder attempt, because Vendor saw that Silco won't stop and Vendor couldn't see war anymore. Which makes anger and trauma of Silco deeper and more important. Imagine your beloved friend, you're brother both in ideas and arms, who, probably saved your life as well as you did his, was bit only turning his back on you. No, he take you to the river and try to drawn you, and leave you with a scar and disabilities for the rest of your life. Of, and it's your face, btw. For aesthetic person as we see Silco in the future (and in the past to, of you consider s2, he had bracelets on his hand, even that its bandaged).
