    Doing the maths when the covid lockdown started in Wuhan and Italy, showed that the chances of getting the virus, let alone dying from it was very small. Yet most people were in a blind panic thinking most of their families would be wiped out. I found it so strange that people couldn't understand what I was trying to explain to them. The population of Wuhan is 11 million and back in March 3,000 people died there (allegedly from covid 19) That is a tiny percentage of the population. 0.02% !!! The population of China is 1 Billion so the percentage of Chinese to die from Covid was 0.0003%!!!! 85,000 people tested positive for covid in Wuhan and that is 0.7% of the population of 11 Million!!! 0.7%!!!!! Italy had 6,000 deaths and the population of Italy is 60 million. That works out at 0.01% of the population. The number of deaths in Italy is now up to 35,000 and that is still only 0.05% of the population. So going by those percentages the chances of anyone dying from covid or even knowing anyone who died from covid are slim. But very few people could see what I was getting at. In fact I got cruxified on facebook and ended up deleting my account because of it. 7 months later there are protests going on all over the world against the lockdown and the numbers of people waking up are growing by the day. And most people I ask don't know anyone with the virus. And those that do, only know 1 person (usually a friend of a friend) For a "highly contagious" virus it's not all that prevalent after all. I was really angry at how stupid people were being. People's livelihoods have been lost. People are starving all over the world because of the lockdown. Suicide rates are going to sky rocket and so many countries are now in crippling debt. I have every right to be angry. But I can see that it was fear that made everyone go blind. And I should try to be more compassionate towards them. (It's what caused me to search for this video) We were played for fools by big pharma, the banks, the media and our corrupt governments who do their bidding.

    Emotion in general makes us stupid. Emotion is a shortcut of logic that draws between ideas of future benefits that a person can offer us if we support them, but there’s only one problem; emotions can only use what they already know. But a computer with no emotions and no access to it will not take over the world for one reason; its lack of emotion leaves no motive to do so. Emotion is simply a driver; it’s a motivator to shortcut reasoning, but if misinformed, that emotion can be very unhelpful or even destructive. Because even kind acts are logical in some way. If we were programmed to measure up long and short term impacts and knew everything, we would never make any mistakes. But we would never know if there was any point in living. So I don’t think there is. And I’m not going to say I’m tired of living because of it, because that’s another emotion. Our need for purpose was crea *by emotion* . *Greed, fear and feelings of inferiority is what drove us to seek dominance and for World Wars to start. Nothing matters and everything matters. Nothings perfect and everything’s perfect. Nothing was meant to happen and everything was meant to happen.

      I agree with you about AI not having a motive to take over the world. I've been saying that for years. All these AI movie's annoy me for that reason. I don't agree that emotion makes us stupid in general though. A lot of the time the heart knows something instantly where it can take longer to come to the same conclusion through logical deduction. Although being overly emotional can make you do irrational things.

    People in a post-industrial society are parched for meaning and sick of endless commodification/monetization. So this guy plans to "strip' the Masters of all religious/cultural connotations so as not to overly tax parched post-modern people i.e pile on with an even more audacious form of commodification/ monetization. What he's 'adapting' the Masters to is unimpeded, universal fungibility. Your wallet is one social construct he's happy to engage.

    Hello Sigal - I very much enjoy your research and the information you are providing your viewers. I was fortunate in the late 80's to have had two mentors who came to Sprint from Honeywell and brought with them a work place environment philosophy that was a very close parallel to what you presented, Victor Koppang and Sammy Freeman. It worked! It worked so well that our Western Region became so in tune with one another that we left the rest of the company in the dust. We loved going to work! With what they taught me, I became the "turn-around guy" who was sent to "fix" eight "failing" district offices. With love and compassion for the team that assured each other's success, we succeeded in the fashion that HQ had difficulty comprehending. Thank you for educating the managers out there that in reality, all it takes is LOVE.

      I don't think he does, but anyway there is a difference between fear and anxiety in that fear can be justified for example: a lion rushing towards you, whereas anxiety tends to be less substantive and have more irrational roots

    Sigal, I love your work and truely believe in it and wish more leaders will adopt your research findings. Also, from my personal and professional experience, I would like to recommend to leaders to adopt methods that propmote and accelarate the companionate love in the workplace. Methods they can use during staff meetings and other, work related social gatherings. These methods include cooperative social games and activities, minimizing competition and encouraging cooperation between staff, Dialogue Circles and more. thank you for your work. I am using it for my Thesis. I am researching how mutual emotional expressions effect the efficiency of educational teams.
