I am now using dual daggers and katanas in the dlc

Thanks Bro. I was being half lazy to go to East Altus and awaken the rune and half pissed that I couldn’t take her without it. So I kept going at it till she fell.

@ No problem. I don’t know if you have the DLC or intend on starting it anytime soon, but that’s the ultimate skill check. There are great resources in it that will make it easy to do though. Not sure if bleed bloodhound’s greatsword will be enough, but I did play it entirely with bleed greatsword, and it was pretty easy.

@@Grantsta I will do the dlc and post the vids. Kinda got to like how the Hand of Malenia feels and I might dual wield it with the bloody Nagakiba for the DLC, or maybe I’ll hold off till NG+.

@ No, do NOT start the DLC on NG+. The game is going to be SIGNIFICANTLY harder, and trust me, the bosses are very difficult. Also Hand of Malenia won’t be viable for waterfowl dance since it is really slow. You’d be better off using it in your off-hand. Honestly, dexterity builds are a skill check in the DLC. You might even end up using a strength build for it unless you decide to stick with dexterity anyway. I was fairly good at the game, yet struggled with most of the bosses even using mimic tear. I stopped struggling after using a blood greatsword with lion’s claw ash of war.

@@GrantstaI’ll do the DLC before going into NG+ then. Blasphemous blade seems like my second pick but it looks too op from what I’ve seen.

Level up and use bleed or frost as those are her weaknesses. Also try to get good at dodging her waterfowl dance by rolling in to her initially and then away.

@@SoulsxCapxFighterFalse. And on your first playthrough, it’s learning, so that means get good, then she’ll be fair. Consort Radahn is a more unfair fight due to hitboxes, but they nerfed him.

To me she felt harder than other bosses and she would react to my inputs more, I spent around 1.5 hours beating her. But I do agree you have to get good to best her. I’ve heard great things about the DLC but haven’t gone that far yet. So much to explore and not enough time to play lol.

@@_zeegethe most i spent was 4 hours against the tree sentinel, fresh with no upgrades.

I explored a lot before finding radahn

I got consecutive hits then I staggered him and did a cutscene hit, so it all stacked up.
