How do you find clients for Hss??
Do you mean as a consultant/provider? I noticed that there were a lot of signs up in certain areas of the city that say "Do you need help finding housing?" and have some generic bullet points about what "they" can help you with. Then you call the number or email and, surprisingly, they get back to you pretty quick. You provide your general information and current housing situation etc. Then they set you up with a housing consultant in the area. So the weird thing to me (as the person seeking help) was like... ok you set me up with the housing consultant, but who are YOU? The area code was from somewhere in Arizona, so my best guess is this uhh organization(?) is contracted by individual providers/consultants to funnel traffic to them via the web and physical postings/"ads" in the targeted area. I'll see if I can dig up more information since I was able to find the address via their phone number. I think it would be just as effective to make signs to post up around low-income areas, shelters, etc and put more information on it about why a housing consultant is necessary to the process of receiving HSS. There's a lot of confusion and hoops to jump through in the system for someone at risk of/recently homeless. It's hard to navigate and I would have saved a lot of time if the path had been clearly explained to me early on.
Estoy orgullosa de él!! No pude haber tenido un sobrino así de grandioso, si me hubieran pedido una lista de deseos sobre sus cualidades!!
