Great potential. I bet it will look fantastic once complete. One thing I'd do differently, however, and this is a subjective thing so not a bad thing. I'd much prefer a longer pool, long enough for laps, even a full 25 yards ideally if there was room, maybe "L" shaped so a deep end at the small L end off to the side for treading water exercises too, especially as I get older, though could just be a straight rectangle with a deep end at one end. Maybe where the pool currently shows, just make that the hot tub, and put the pool out where the lawn is, maybe with a few trees between it and the water for a little more sense of privacy when outdoors. If there was sufficient room on that back lawn for the pool, not too narrow of one either, unless maybe it was the "L" shape with the L end the wider part, but if there was sufficient room on that back lawn to do that I absolutely would, and it would be especially nice if there was still some room for some reasonable amount of green lawn at either end and on the water side. Just my two cents. And though it would be great if done as part of the construction, I bet it could be something done after purchase too.
