How to create a table in salesforce?
Thank you! Great video. What would I lose by creating the entire pipeline in yaml (including the release cycle)? Given the fact that we will have (potentially) dozens of APIs in our organization, I like the idea of having the pipeline centralized in a template repo (with a multi-stage release pipeline with approvals) and requiring all APIs in the project to use the same template. Thoughts?
Apologize for the delay in responding, I do not receive Big Compass TH-cam notifications. Another approach that could be used is to utilize the Task Groups feature in Pipelines to store templated tasks (i.e. certain Maven Tasks, certain reusable PowerShell tasks, etc.) which could be used for setting up your Pipelines. The release cycle, however, is not created in yaml. It is created via the Classic way. Azure DevOps is flexible in that it can be used many different ways to create customized templates.
@@catherine-wills We do control even our release cycles in yaml. We do this primarily so that we can (for the sake of consistency) reuse the same template for multiple projects.
GOOD JOB CATHERINE!!
Can you please share the catalyst and exchange spec?
This is great. What about integration success with Microsoft Azure?
But question still remains is am going to suffer on latency and throughput statistics by combining the strength of both platforms as my business logic is latency sensitive , your input is highly appreciated 👍
Can you share your PPT.?

To push data from backend to Salesforce using Kafka. When would you use Events, vs Sobject connector vs Kafka REST invoked patterns? Any thoughts welcome
Hello Sairyo! It depends on the nature of the backend system and the nature of transaction expected. For REST based backend application, Kafka REST would be preferable as it will be of Synchronous in nature, and if the backend system expects a return type this can work. For backend application that is already kafka enabled, it makes sense to publish as a message in a kafka topic (There can be sink connectors configured on this kafka topic to injest data into salesforce), this will be asynchronous in nature with no return type and much efficient to load data with data burst or high velocity data in nature. Hope this helps!
Hi! Is the same strategy from the demo for audit logs and the only think that changes is the information we want to audit? What about to externalization the audit logs in a DB? Any best practices that you can share with us?
Hi, I've been scouring the internet and youtube to try and see if Boomi can detect and send ONLY the changed fields from SF to our integration. Our implementation partners have configured it in a way that when a change is made on a record (let's call it an order), every single field is then sent back to SAP. Ie, Customer Request date changed on order in SF, Boomi will send all related fields of the Order, Order Line Items back to SAP even if only one field was changed. This dramaticaly increases sync/processing time. Can boomi do "just" a delta load?
Thank you for the video! It's been 2 years since I had to learn my way around Boomi and creating a Salesforce update process. I am revisiting it to see how to update my connector to support the upcoming MFA requirement. Any advice on how this is best handled? It seems like the SOAP based connector isn't ready for this, but maybe I'm missing something. Thanks in advance!
Hi Big Compass. Can you show us the sample configuration of connector and operator? TIA
Great video - we're going through some of these exact use-cases right now.
Hi, I liked and subscribed to your channel! Do you have a course to learn Boomi doing real world projects?
Hello Ferdous! Glad you enjoyed the video. ☺️ We do not offer a specific course to learn Boomi, however, we do have a list of case studies from real-world projects. You can find those case studies here: www.bigcompass.com/categories/case-study. Let us know if you have any questions.
Did you still get some links for learning real world projects?
Thanks!!
Thank you very much for the detailed explanation
Would be helpful to see an in-depth example of how to build a process to query SFDC and work with the records.
Thanks for the feedback Patrick

Hi , that was a great talk, thanks for the upload. Question regarding sending out Cloudhub's audit/system logs to external logging applications. While digging for it, I came to know we can use CloudHub's API to pull those data but wanted to know, is there anyother options like configuration settings/changes in CloudHub level to change the log settings. Again , I'm clear on sending application log out using custom appenders but this question is purely on sending out Cloudhub's audit/system log to external logging applications . Thanks
The best way to accomplish this will be to create an application the pulls the data from the Anypoint Platform APIs and sends them to the target logging system in this case.
@@BigCompass Thanks for the reply, eventually that seems the only viable option as of now. Thanks again
Nice demo
Do you have any documents that will help with Azure appender? Thanks
@Aaron a vote for security because anything you guys bring out on security is pure gold!
Nobody explained so far.. 😍
very good or should i say , best description of any point runtime fabric ... thanks for posting video ...

Hi Aaron, Nice to see you presenting runtime fabric at Dallas Mulesoft meetup, I have requirement to have custom logger in mule4 to send logs to splunk from cloudhub, could you guide me any reference material, Thanks in Advance
Hi Sunil. Check out these links. Depending on your needs, you can use an HTTP Log4j2 HTTP appender, or the second link below describes how to port all CloudHub logs to Splunk. help.mulesoft.com/s/article/How-to-configure-Appender-to-Splunk-in-Mule-Application-log4j-configuration help.mulesoft.com/s/article/How-to-send-CloudHub-Logs-to-Splunk
Do you have any relevant document for Kafka appender? Thanks
Hey Utkarsh. Kafka is a great use case for this! Check out logging.apache.org/log4j/2.x/manual/appenders.html for documentation on the Kafka appender. We would love to hear your success story using Log4j2 with a Kafka appender when you implement this.
