#5 was.....wrong...Idk who did that and while it was cool, it blassted off straight up and ships cant jump to hyperspace until they clear the mass shadow. In Lusankyas case, it had to clear the planetary shields first. Also all of those star destroyers were not there. Ysanne Issard was alone when she left imperial center.

How both of the Exogal fleet arrivals beat Darth Vaders arrival in Rogue One or the Council fleet vs Geth from Mass Effect 1 is beyond me.

I watched to see if Mass Effect would be here. Personally, I think this list is missing the fleet arrival scene in Mass Effect 1 when the human fleet drops in to save the Citadel Council(the clip showed here was from Mass Effect 3 and that fleet wouldn't exist if you choose not to help, it would be a different cutscene) because as i said in parenthesis, the ME1 situation was more dire, it was a split second decision that had major ripple effects across the next 2 games whereas the clip showed was less "clutch" because Commander Shepard choose the time of the attack. ALSO the scene from Guardians of the Galaxy when the Nova Corps shows up to turn the tide could be on the list

"I really think you should look at the other battlestar" _slew_ me when I first saw that episode as a kid. The absolute incongruity of a joke at that moment was almost too much for my tiny child brain. :)

For me the Galaxy Fleets attack on the Reapers in Sol system in ME3 was and for a long time will be the highest moment in a sci-fi game.

B5 is the best, simple. elegant and impactful without even firing a single shot while the "galaxy fleet" is the most stupid and clumsy.

Every time I see the Galactica falling from the sky I think of the early 90s original series Fan fic they blatantly ripped it off from.

Battlestar Galactica jumping into the atmosphere - what an absolutely epic scene. Such an amazing series. Shortly after in the very same episode - the Pegasus also has a wonderful entry scene when it appears all is lost. EDIT: OK - just saw you put it at #1 in the other part to this. :)

A little corny, but one of the first ship reveals I thought of was the Klingon ship surprising the whaler in Star Trek IV. That one’s unique and exciting.

As awful as the final Star Wars was, seeing the galactic fleet is a wonderful sight. A testament to enough being enough. Not to mention Wedge Antilles has been killing bad guys since before I was born.

I teared up the first time I played ME3 and the fleets arrived. Whatever you think about the ending, the build up to that final confrontation was stellar

The Klingon cloak sound effect is one of the best in the business.

The Federation fleet (including a LOT of Klingon and Romulan ships which CAN cloak, but for some reason don’t) is getting taken out because the smaller and faster Gem Hadar ships are kamakazi hitting them? Kamakazi attacks against ships that cloak? The Final Order ships… hidden under ice, but that breaks easy… are twice as big as Star Destroyers. Everything… doors, twice as high… windows, twice as big… distance from the floor to the bottom of a window, twice as far… they just re-used the detailed computer model from Rogue One… all of Lando’s ships… all CGI kitbash. Others have gone on at length on why this whole scene is stupid. I will just say that the emperor had full crews aboard each ship, just sitting there under the ice. Millions of people just… hanging out. On a deserted planet. Where no food is grown. Years. During the Berlin Airlift, allied forces were sending dozens of ships per day. Nobody noticed anything. Also, in spite of Snoke’s death and Kyle going rogue and flying off alone, the First Order was more or less done re-conquering the galaxy… the Emperor already had the “rule everything” stuff done. I don’t know why there was his new fleet. Cool, you’ve captured stuff from… yourself. The actual fleet scene, where the Defiant shows up. NGL, badass fleet. But the Defiant is BY FAR the most bang for your buck. They need to be making a lot more. The Revenge of the Sith opening over Coruscant was simply awesome. I have no bad things to say about it. I would like to point out that by this point in the battle, the CIS fleet got REALLY close to the planet. The planetary shields are now up. So the Clones are winning. How does a no-rank person call ANY ships, much less all the ships of only one design? And how is it that all of them were just far enough away to go to warp in all the places they were? If she’d gone to a star base and said, “Send help!”, a bunch of ships of different models would show up, all as fast as they could, not all at once. Stargate fleet… yeah. Not silly, just former enemies coming together. Back to the just revealed planet breaker… fully crewed, just left docking under the ice. DID NOT ACTIVATE SHIELDS TO BREAK THE ICE. Now still don’t have shields up. Babylon 5 scene - No complaints, but it interests me that the Mimbary arrived via four jump points. The human ships used a single one. My impression of JMS’s stories is that there’s some kind of lore- based reason for that. And knowing there’s a lore reason that points to seemingly weird behavior tickles me. Mass Effect scene. No complaints. But I did appreciate how each side had differing doctrines going on. There are enough attackers that One Shot One Kill isn’t enough to stop the attackers. Klingon fleet arrives… no comment. Good storytelling to get big reinforcements. Like Gandalf showing up at Helm’s Deep with Roherim. The space fight in Serenity… best movie ever. I love how the Alliance guys are so shocked to see an armada like that, they all just freeze of shock, briefly. I can’t really think of other scenes to… wait, yes I can. 1) Rogue One. The Death Star plans are in hand, so the Rebel fleet jumps out. Just as Vader’s Star Destroyer and the Death Star show up. Some ships had already left, some crashed into Vader’s ship, and some veered off. Since there’s only two ships arriving, technically it doesn’t count. But one of those ships *IS* a Death Star. 2) Star Trek, final episode of Season 2. Enterprise and Discover are in place to send Discovery forward in time. Section 31 shows up with one, fully operating with an AI. And then it starts shedding debris. But it turns out each piece is a ship, with weapons, operated by the same AI. I have an internal feeling that these ships are both just fighters. They’re just ships with no internal space for a crew to stay, so they’re super small. I’ll leave that to OP.

Can I just say, the starwars one in the intro was absolute trash 😂 All of those ships navigated the weird death nebula and then all arrived in copy and paste fashion… it shows a lack of awareness, they really thought doing an Endgame is enough, regardless of the lack of logic or how ‘on the nose’ it was.

@ 2:30 the giant ship chops a smaller one without puching it? No matter the size of it, the larger ship would push the smaller out of the way or get it stuck in the bumper. Sci-fi is so convinient. I still watched the entire season, though. Galactica jumping into the atmosphere of Caprica = Total anihilation. Jump in then jump out = Nuclear explosion. The shock waves alone would have flatten anything on the ground, then the sonic booms would wipe out the rest. The void left by the jump-out would lift into bolivion the remaining dust. Star Wars Lusankia, launching without engines on the bottom! Then jumping with no effect to the atmosphere or objects around...

It doesn't get talked about enough how in First Contact, Worf on the Defiant has a variation on the Klingon Battle Theme, that faded into the TNG theme as Big-E arrives.
