First weekend at the boat, loading onboard safety items, etc. Added a marine VHF Installed a GPS unit I found on the boat that wasn't installed. Replaced some running rigging and continue to learn the boat and it's systems.

1st weekend of owning the boat, I brought some things down to the boat and started a few projects. I really wanted to clean the boat but I need to get it ready to move!

We stopped at a friends house in Baltimore on the way to Virginia. So part of this video is in September and part is in December. The December weekend was down the Chesapeake Bay and into the Potomac River.

1st leg, leaving through the Fire Island Inlet at 11:30am, into the Atlantic. We went overnight before a stop in Atlantic City for fuel and then right back out to Cape May NJ (arriving in the dark that evening)

The Channel has changed names because I have a collection of sailing videos over a couple of different channels. I have decided to keep all my sail videos here since this channel was not really being used. If you saw this before, thanks for watching it again! I will have new videos coming after I get some of my older videos posted here.
i like these pilothouse boats.
I was on one a few years back that was a little older and not as nice. But once I saw this one for sale, it was just a matter of time before I got one. The dual helms and the pilot house with no ladders was perfect. The build quality is outstanding, if I ever get a different boat, it would still be a Nauticat.

It's a great boat, I had a Catalina 22 with a Wing Keel that I loved but it was just too small. This is a perfect size for day trips or weekends and even longer.

They are out there, but you need to check daily. I grabbed this one off of www.sailboatlistings.com just after it was posted. I was the first to contact the seller and this first to see it. Buyer #2 showed up to see the boat a little early but I agreed to buy it so he never got a chance.
undecided on what be easier for me to be single handling a cat 28 or 30. it be my first sailboat.

If they dont have solar its by generator…
Only works with the boat connected to shore power.
Show us the shower.
No one ever shows how the shower works and hangs and the pressure and how it's heated...
Honestly this was just a quick walk around toor for family and friends....not an in depth review. Water is heated off the engine or shore power.
