On Day 1: Srinagar and Sonamarg,
On Day 2: Reach Kargil vua Zoji La
On Day 3: Reach Leh
On Day 4: Discover hidden treasures at Nubra Valley
On Day 5: Explore Turtuk and Hunder. Drive to the edge of India from where you can see K2 and Karakoram range
On Day 6: Reach Pangong Lake
On Day 7: Get back to Leh
Budget : Set aside a minimum of INR 50K for the whole trip including bike rental, food and stay but excluding flights for a decent experience
Tips:
Bike: Make sure the tyres have proper grip and the bike is in good condition(No ignition troubles and brakes must be in good condition) . Prefer RE Himalayan
Gear: Water proof woollen gloves, proper biking gear to avoid bruises in case of a fall, helmet are a must.
Fuel stations: Fill up your tanks to full in Srinagar, Leh and in Nubra valley. Petrol pumps are not abundant
Carry First Aid
Carry GoPro or any other action camera. Worth it.
Photography : Nubra valley is a perfect spot to capture night sky, especially Milkyway shots.
