I do agree that mvave should put the option of naming a preset and also i hope they fix the noticeable signal cut when switching to another preset or opening effects blocks.

Happy you’re able to swap guitars. You deserved it considering there are not a ton of Victory videos yet and you probably sold a bunch with your review. I am slightly regretting getting the Smokehouse because it is almost black, hides the pretty good flame I got, and shows swirl marks right out of the box. I just have to get used to that. Complaints aside, I do love the guitar so far. I joke that Gibson electrics are all variations of the Les Paul outside the Firebird. The Victory is definitely not a Les Paul variation. I like the pick ups. Fits the guitar’s vibe.

On the review videos I have seen on the Victory they show the matte and burst finish bodies are the same thickness.

Great review. CE stands for classic electric and denotes a PRS that has a bolt on neck. The customs are all glue in set necks. 🙂👍

🤟😁👍This is a very good and thorough review. I have an original 80s Victory MVX with 496R, 500T, and NSX pickups in metallic red. It had a H S H configuration with a switch that gives you 3 single coils and a 5 way selector just like a Strat or 2 humbuckers with a choice of 4 tones. Love that guitar. It was the predecessor to the early 90s M3 with the same electronics. I have 5 of those in different colors. The same 3 pickup configuration was also used on the Les Paul Studio Lite M3 in the 90s (I have 4 of those in different colors, my favorites). I'll have find one of these new Victorys a give it a try. Thanks👍

How are the batteries on the mico plus? Batteries degrade over time, and itll get to a point where it won't hold a charge. Are the batteries removable? Can you charge and play?

This is the best review of this unit I have seen, particularly in terms of how it works, and I have watched a lot of them. Thank you, I have learned a lot and without having to sit through a lot of rubbish.

Looks gorgeous, love SGs like this, but the headstock inlays just dont speak to me, something like a Supreme needs something more fancy, it remembers me to an Edwards.

Great review for the smart guitar I believe is the most interesting launch for 2024 (sorry, Lava Me 4). I love my Enya NEXG 2, and my acoustic Ibaniz and Fender Strat are literally collecting dust on the wall. So I'm pretty big on those smart guitars for their versatility and convenience.

The very first thing that I noticed about this guitar when you showed it was the cool explorer headstock. I guess I must be an old fan but it looks pretty cool to me. Looks like a very nice guitar just out of my price range but I would definitely buy it if it was less expensive. Cheers mate great video.

2500 $ ? So many guitars in that price range that are better just fir starters PRS and why a Pic guard when at that price it should be back routed with a clean front side and no vibrato ? Gibson Fail Again !

Hows the tuning stability? Will it slip out of tune after a day or so of siting?

I think if Fender will release Fender Tone Master Micro with one or two good Amp models and less less Effectors, less less functionalities, it will dominate this market. Sound quality is what I want for amp simulator.

Epiphone Is It!

Why does the Epiphone SG Standard '61 you use does not seem like it has a veneer? Is it some sort of different model? or a limited run? All the other standard I've seen have the ugly striped looking veneers.

That's a beautiful guitar...

Ive bought Blue Chip, Blue Bird, Casein, and Primetone. The Blue Chip is my favorite. It's got a great sound, and whatever it's made from makes it easy to hold on to. The primetne are next for me. I'm going to experiment and make a few of my own out of various materials and substances.

I think the only thing that holds the pedal back for me is that there are no distortions or overdrives, but so far you can get some good gain tones by having the amps, plus with the ANN Tone Capturing technology included with it I don't think it would really matter in the end.

Looks good but not spectacular. I dont know, I like more how vintage Victorys look. But is far from being a classic Gibson fiasco, I think this model would appeal to many people.

The master volume nob is usable while in preset mode.

I love it, but the price is crazy. Need an Epiphone Prophecy model with no pickguard, figured top, and EMGs or Fishmans.

Good grief! When I am blasting it out onstage, I would have no time to finger dance around the push pull switches to change pickup tone! That’s why I use Kramer Barettas with single Duncan JBs from the 1980’s! Ok for bedroom players though.

It's ugly they're trying hard to out do fender. It's a cross between Ibanez and a strat and. Strat. Shame on Gibson.

It looks a little clunky to me, but I hope they do well. Not very optimistic. You can’t compete with a strap if you don’t offer a whammy bar. Also, not a deal killer but the headstock should’ve have straight string runs the old one.
