Wow their houses are very nice made out of wood. You don’t see that very much in the western part of the country. I have been in that area before, it is very nice out there. The gringos don’t go to that part of the country very often. People did stare at me quite a bit one lady told me that the only white people she ever saw before were on tv.

Looks like a nice village I have never had Iguana on the eastern part of the country, they do it very different. It did look really good though. It was very thick looking, almost like Indio viejo. Where I live it is done more like a chicken noodle soup. We also skin them and grill them as well.

you need to see são paulo and rio de janeiro hoods. These "poor areas" are much more developed than Rocinha or any other favela. For brazilians these would be low middle class homes.
