Need to replace battery of my old phone had it since 2018 battery went bad I got a new phone two years ago but still have this one.

What's with the music? if I wanted to watch a 1920 guy with the arm Bell mustache or Charlie Chapman falling off the roof, or crank turning a Ford model T, would've prepped myself with 🍿 searched for a video 🏃🏃🏃😁😁.

This guide worked perfectly, other than one note: the glass back I bought came with the lens cover already installed, minus the diffuser bead for the light. I have to gently removed it from the old one and very, very carefully glue it in place in the new one. Make sure you make not of the orientation of the bead when installing it.

It's good to know that it CAN be done if my battery just doesn't hold a charge anymore.. but there's no way I'm going through that unless it's absolutely necessary. My battery is weak but I don't want to risk breaking my phone if I have to do all that.

There were already adhesive paste on the new back cover when you bought it from the seller? You didn't apply any paste on the back cover before you attach it on the phone?

Well, I will tell you my story about replacing the back cover. I replaced the back cover on lg g8x and lg v60 from the first phone I managed to remove the cover without damage, but on v60 I tried to remove it without heating and broke it, but I ordered a new one from aliexpress in advance (and to my surprise the back cover from China came all covered in a film with glue on the camera on the edges of the cover and also in special places where the cover touches the body of the phone in the middle. Everything was glued well, but there is a big problem on both phones when someone calls you, the sound seems to be duplicated as an echo. Please help me, maybe someone had such a problem, I think the phone's tightness is broken, but I don't know how to fix...

Problem! I want to repair the cracked screen on my Motorola G Power phone, but I shoved it deep up the ass of a local Best Buy employee who had refused my refund request. I'm thinking buying a new phone might prove altogether an easier process, although I hate to waste money. At 4:10 you removed the plastic retainer and charging port without removing the screw, but at 4:44 your replaced the port and screwed in the screw? I'm confused.

This isnt a repair video, all you did was buy a new charging port and swap it out. That, and waste 40 seconds of my life since i knew with that garbage music in the background, this would be some clickbait bullshit and skipped along.

You took the blue part (probably charging port) out then went off camera and the video didn't show what you did! Then you came back on camera and placed it back into the tablet. 🤔 Doesn't help me to know what to do when you never showed what you were doing off camera with the blue part. 17 minutes I sat through and still ended the video not knowing what exactly happened when you were off camera!😕

Wer den Akku tauschen möchte, weil sein Blackview auf der Seite des Fingerabdruck-Sensors extrem heiß wird und sich der Akku innerhalb von 8 Stunden verbraucht, der sollte vor dem Kauf und Tausch des Akkus testen, ob der Defekt nicht durch das Kabel des Fingerabdruck-Sensors verursacht wird. Auch mit einem neuen Akku wurde mein Blackview an der Seite heiß, und er verbrauchte sich sehr schnell. Ich konnte das Problem nun aber auf den Fingerabdruck-Sensor an sich zurückführen. Ein Ausstecken und Isolieren der Kontakte reichte nicht aus! Erst als ich das Kabel des Sensors komplett entfernte, heizte sich dieser nicht mehr auf, und der Akku hielt wieder 36 Stunden.

Thank you for posting this. Saved me a ton of money buying a new smartphone. I didn't bother detaching the fingerprint sensor though. Just had to be careful not to pull on the back cover too hard. Don't forget to check if the new battery works by charging it before screwing the vertical plate back in! The most challenging part for me was reattaching the power connectors. You need to take your time finding the sweet spot. Don't rush it and push down forcefully or you'll smoosh the dainty little pins inside the connectors and you'll end up with a new battery in a functional phone but with dead power connectors.

Thank you so much. I love that you did a good job, but I would have liked to have seen you turn on the phone at the end. Anyway, I love how you kept it clean and neat too. Last time I did not purchase any repair tape, I just reheated the edges. Next time I'll do it right.

My volume button is missing. Do I have to remove mother board to install button from the inside?
