All the wax ammo gave me so much trouble last winter, I had to just stick with SK. It gets pretty cold up here for quite a period of time. I may try to wipe the rounds down for this winter. 🤔 😊

Some say I go at it too fast. That is why I do it. To keep the heat in the barrel. Sometimes it helps me sometimes it hurts me

Also, a good tip: Same place you get the card stock, you can also grab a printer cartridge refill kit!! I have refilled my cartridges over 15 times with a kit and still have more than 1/2 the ink left in the refill bottles. 😮 It is super easy to do and only takes 15 minutes or less for both color and black. There are videos all over here to show how to do it. Each time you refill, you save about 60 beans or more. Pays for itself first time you do it 😊

I always use card stock! Absolutely love it! Don't think I could even use regular paper again. 😉 No question if you hit the target. I think "some" people like regular paper because they can "say" or "fake" a hit they want in their favor. Most of the people I know are extremely honest stand-up people. You can see the others if you look. Thanks for sharing 👍 Card stock is awesome and doesn't cost all that much more if you order online 😊

That 30yr old ammo wouldn't be Lapua Popular Match would it ?? Had a case of that back in th 90s and it shot great out of my Match 54 too . Wish I had more of it ! One of the best. Targets I've seen in this challenge , great job ! Cheers man

Use soft core the v max is not for those animals vmax is for crow fox but not this big ones . Bullet dont pass through so you have not much blood when you must search.

The 50 gr. V-Max, is THE Bullet, for ANY of the 1-14 Twist, .22-250's ! My accuracy "Node" is at, 3,575 FPS with, H-4895 or H-380 = "Bug-Holes" ! In my sub 8 Pound, Braked Rifle, the Barrel,.. doesn't even "Move" to see, the Hits with, body parts flying, on Sage Rats !

I've been using 50gr Vmax in my 223 since 90 I found out Moly Coat them they are faster and point of impact is 1 inch higher @ 100yds, oh yeah and way less cleaning...

why don't they ever stay that still for me?

Haha Shoot this again but put your competition ammo in a CCI box just to mess with em. My 54 does better on RWS Special Match, I think its the shorter casing. I didn't see enough improvement in the R50 R100 to justify the expense. Perhaps if I were better I would see a difference? My .22 is a Kelby Custom Trainer w/ 10x50 Sightron. It's better than I am which is what I wanted, if I don't do well its my fault. I have to print some of these targets.

At the very beginning of the video you mentioned that you resized the brass with a 270 die. Could you please explain that? Thanks. I shoot IBS HVFS mostly. However, in the winter months my club shoots UBR. I kind of like that a little better....except for the 20 degree weather. LOL.

Great video on Ep5 Arken!…. Have you had any experience w the Athlon helos w same magnification?…. No stock here in Memphis to even look at one… Not concerned w $150 price difference. I’m older and new to shooting..(6.5 creedmoor savage) Just want a good clear image, and have some peace of mind if something goes wrong no issues.. Have you heard of any Arken issues w people having to send them back?… turn around time could be very long time?.. Thanks for your time… I love the Arkens so far…
