It was awesome in real life. One of the tour guides told us to walk near them and say "I love you" in order to get them to respond like this and it worked but I feel he was pulling our chain.

I was lucky enough to witness this awesome noise a few days ago and I literally laughed for five min no breaks.

I was just at Alcatraz today and heard these birds for the first time!! Probably one of the most hilarious sounds I have ever heard in my life! Glad that the Audubon Society was founded in order to protect them and others like them.

I saw this when i was hiking to this water fall. At first I thought they were tying to kill each other!! Can't believe they do a group sex!

Wubgubgub evidently means "welcome to the Google+ offices" in Snowy Egret. Don't stand underneath them, though. They're not as friendly as the rest of the team.

Susan Shepard Do you know where I sit? They're close by. Don't stand too close, though, because: a) they're protective of their young, b) they're protected, c) their poop is rank.

Jon took me to the coffee lab one morning and we saw the trees full of them. I had seen a few when I biked on Stevens Creek, but I had no idea there was such a large flock nearby.

Their voices are pretty freaky. I thought I was listening to gnolls or goblins.

Apparently their poop will dissolve your car. Which seems a bit disconcerting.

@Randell Duggins - Go ahead! Everyone should hear these odd birds :) I like to think it would help people become interested and maybe empathize more with birds hearing such funny, human-like sounds come from them.
