Just a quick heads up about the faceplates on the funtime animatronics(not trying to be rude or anything & you probably know this if you played the game). A way you can explain the ingame reason for why their faceplates open is because thats how you can do some maintenance on the animatronics and then a reason(not sure if canon, just my idea) that the funtime animatronics use their faceplates in the jumpscares is to just add to the fear factor when they kill the guards and maintenance workers. It could also be that William added that feature to just scare the employees more and programmed the animatronics to know how to automatically do that from the beginning or that if there's other souls in the funtime animatronics, beside Elizabeth, the souls could have decided to do that to get a kick out of it and to entertain themselves cause of them being down there for so long. Though it depends on the au. Personally in my au the first and last reason are why the faceplates open. I really liked this video and the spectacular designs! Hope you're taking breaks from all the hard work you do. I actually watched this a while back, but didn't finish it(I think? Maybe I did finish it, but forgot to take it out of the watch later playlist) and put it in the watch later to watch it.
