    Now ,by doing these exercises is my shoulder going to pop back in place, or do I have to get it popped back in place before I start my exercises. This has been hurting & getting worse everyday. It's been like this for about 4 months now, I probably should have went to see a doctor by now but I'm stubborn, just thought maybe I strained or pulled a muscle, but now I know for sure it is a partial dislocation . It's really starting to become annoying & interrupt my daily activities. Very painful. I appreciate your time. Thank You

    Ive learned to simply sit upright 90 degrees allowing the affected dislocated shoulder to rest and come into place. Its about the sense of relaxation and allowing the nerve enough sensibility to allow the muscle to come back into place. I believe shoulder reductions should be left to sheer gravity, a threshold for pain and tension and its own weight. NO PAIN...

      Hi, I would recommend a moderate amount of pressure. More specifically to maintain pressure that will allow you to keep pain less than 5/10 throughout the exercise program if possible. I fell electric longboarding over a year ago and probably should have gone to the doctors but was stubborn. I randomly stumbled on this and thought I'd see, even though it doesn't usually hurt anymore, but gets a twinge with certain movements, and this test definitely triggered it. Is it normal to get this from a fall? I was going like 25 mph, and was lucky all things considered. Just wondering if it can be from acute injury, or if it might be something else causing it. Thanks for the great video and information!

      Yes at first one will usually have pain with the majority of the movements. The goal is to only move as far as you can while keeping pain less than a 5/10 if possible. Feel free to let me know if you have any other questions. 🙌

    I’ve started having this intense pain about 5 days ago. It is worse at night and wakes me up. Is it ok to do these now when the tendons are inflamed?

    • @JonDPTMayo
      @JonDPTMayo ปีที่แล้ว

      The research is mixed regarding using exercise as a treatment for inflammation. If pain is more than a 5/10 with movement I would avoid those particular movements for now and focus upon other forms of inflammation reduction such a icing and NSAIDs until it settles down. Hope this is helpful let me know if any other questions.

      @@JonDPTMayo It does, thank you 😊 I took an NSAID today along with icing and bracing and it’s much better. I’ll wait a week or so and do the exercises.
