some vehicle/lift interlocks are different and allow the lift to work while the car is running. which is better for the battery. The circuit breaker "should" be within 18" of the battery per nmeda guidelines.

Yeah so my issue with my lift is that it keeps cutting power front the lift so effectively making it useless…I don’t have a circuit breaker which I think something like that would help in my case I will talk to the company that installed it about it. Are you familiar with Mercedes sprinter vans and the UVL? Thanks for the response I really appreciate it as this thing is giving me a real headache !!

@@alexognara8724 Most of the time, the ground wire is overlooked. Many times, the ground wire has corrosion and has additional resistance causing a voltage issue. Make sure the wire isn't green or have corrosion.

This was testing before routing the exhaust into the lower unit of the outboard motor. To make sure it would still work. It did make it quieter if you watch the other videos

The actuator is rated at 600lbs. But what we lift and position is under 250lbs. We have to bolt in a seat base that is designed to swivel out of the vehicle for disabled customers.

Inverter is behind the drivers seat. Auxiliary battery is under the hood

@@tonymengela3575 I label the wiring and fuses. That way its easy to identify and repair or replace if needed.

It's name, not mine. VSR. It's really a solenoid. Which links the batteries to charge the auxiliary battery when the main battery is above 14volts. Then isolates the batteries when main battery is below 13.8volts. Installed aux battery, for the power inverter. This way the inverter will never drain the main starting battery. Inverter has a low voltage shutoff. But still shutting off at 10.8volts.. wouldn't be enough to start your vehicle. So that why I've added the auxiliary battery.

Actually.. I placed it to the side away from the oil filter, dipstick and fill cap..

Depends on how much of an angle and which direction. Front/rear or side/side angle. The cassette is mounted to the vehicle frame. It has some tolerance and the outer barrier does not deploy until the platform is lowered. It has some adjustments but does not "self-level". It has plenty of down travel. For customers with an excessively steep driveway or uneven area where they park. Many customers found it more cost effective to buy a few bags of concrete and level out an area specially to deploy the lift. Or extend the driveway or parking pad.

@@christopherkirish Thanks for the fast response! We have a pad poured that's raised about 3.5 inches from ground level with a very slight grade. Our hope is the UVL could work only lowering about 2 inches from the bottom of the UVL. It sounds like that and a very slight slope would be ok. I have just only seen videos where the lift is deployed in parking lots and perfectly flat. Thanks again and really appreciate the information!

You can use the overrides in the circuit board at the pump housing. That will bypass all the limit switches and make the outer barrier actuator move up or down. The circuit board has buttons to bypass all functions. Up/down, in/out, and barrier fold/unfold. Then I'd recommend getting it to your local mobility dealer to get repaired

I don't recall off hand of its the same. Typically the same operation between years and models. Sometimes the switch location is in a different spot. Make sure it's a vmi dodge and not another conversion.. or you'll be looking for a switch that doesn't exist.

It was hydraulic. But I put an electric actuator in its place. It's used commonly for precise lifting of 250lbs-350lbs seat bases and installing them in vehicles. Check out a couple of my seat videos. Where the seats can power turn and lift outside the vehicle.

@Danny's diy projects I made it from old lift parts that I had taken from scrap scooter lifts. You could probably go to your local scooter or mobility dealer and they could sell you a new or used actuator

The mower engine from Harbor freight. I believe was a 7/8in shaft. I have a different video showing the coupler that I made.

Not measured, it's just routing the engine exhaust into the water to lower the noise level

Ever heard a truck or muscle car that is straight piped without a muffler? They are so much louder. This was literally a small engine meant for mowers. The muffler made it sound like a lawn mower. Deleted that and routed into the lower unit/water. Made it sound much more like an outboard engine. Instead of a lawn mower on the river.

I have two Ryobi 1800watt generators that I have inside of a plastic storage shed with an attic exhaust and vents on all sides. The inside is insulated with rockwool. There is no sound coming out of the, except for the two muffler pipes that are sticking out the back. That’s the only noise you are hearing and it’s driving me crazy. I want it to be quiet. I was thinking of the water trick. But how long will the water last? It will get so hot, it will evaporate.

@@iiinsaiii I was thinking the same thing for my generator, but my water would freeze in Ohio. I could keep the hose out of the water until it's needed. I'll likely use a big galvanized trash can with a lid.

Yeah, your local braun or mobility dealer should be able to get it. Otherwise we could order it and ship the part to you. But it's usually better to build and have a relationship with your local mobility dealer.

Both. When it's not in water it exits through the prop. There are 2 small exhaust ports on the lower unit above the water line, so when it water it exits through the lower unit. When in gear and with accel, the exhaust exits through both the prop and exhaust ports. I can only assume the water in the prop acts as a dampener, because the sound is quieter and less like a lawn mower like it was in my first video.
