Great vid. Nice smart home For your new home. The only suggestion i can give is to make all your switches are the same. And keep them simple I recommend the Kasa matter switch. They work great. I used kasa non matter switches in my old home for the past 3 years and they do work great
I have looked into Kasa but i think they are doing Matter over Wifi. I want to use less wifi devices for my new smart home
Hmmm pixel fold 9 pro is still a 2nd gen device. I’d rather wait until it’s more refined
It's the best Foldable on the market right now, but yes, I agree, future generations will be better, i am waiting for Z fold 7

In your new home you should really consider using the Inovelli switches as they’re several switches in one. For example you could press a button on the switch to turn on the lamp instead of the Aqara button.
I have actually been thinking about innovali switches as well, but I am also looking at the price point and less hassle for me to tinker through post setup. Here in Canada prices are almost same for Lutron smart switches and Inovelli so I'm actually leaning towards Lutron.
Do you have any issues running 2 zigbee networks? I’m assuming that you have an aqara zigbee network as well as a home assistant zigbee network. Is there any interference or dropping of connections

Best value for money is Aqara zigbee products. They are easily available on Amazon and you can get a bit cheaper pricing on AliExpress.
Great video. Thanks for sharing!! I would love to see a video about why you use home assistant and what problems it solves you can do in HomeKit. It’s something that always scares me to dive into and worried it will make things too complex especially for other members of my household. Also not sure if you noticed but your mic went out some, sorry that happened hopefully you can get it fixed
Yes I realized about my mic issue after. Ah well. Thanks for pointing it out. I actually like home-assistant. I am able to bring some of my mom homekit enabled devices into homekit. No other member of my family has to use of even know about it 😂😂. Home assistant can be as easy or as complex as you make it to be. I use it for very basic tasks and automations. Why do you turn off the outdoor lights at midnight and not on sunrise
Light come through a little at night via windows so we prefer to turn them off at midnight, it's a personal preference 😀. Thanks for watching and commenting.

Like you, I have Alexa and Ring devices, Apple TV, LG appliances and looking for a way to bring them all under one umbrella. I want to also automate opening and closing the blinds. Outer screen is for minimal use. One hand use. The main purpose is to use the main screen. I have the same device, I use the main screen 80% and outer screen only when I am on the go.
Bezels are way too big especially on the cover display! 2nd gen. I’d rather wait
3rd gen you mean, I am actually looking forward to Samsung Z fold 7 now with bigger outer display.

Everybody complains about the narrow front screen. THIS is what I like about it. Coming from an iPhone 13 Pro Max the fold is a lot more comfortable in my pocket. The camera could indeed be better, but is ok.
I read that Fold 7 will be same as Fold 6SE so that will resolve narrow screen complaints 😂
Great view on the phone. It certainly has its ups and downs. Take a look at the Honor Magic v3 or Vivo X Fold 3 Pro. I have all three and love them all for different reasons.
Unfortunately those phones are not available in Canada. I got Pixel Fold Pro 9 so looking forward to experiencing a second foldable experience.

Yes it's 44mm version.
The point of the outer display being skinny is that it makes you want to open the phone. If you have a phone like the pixel fold there's a slight chance or big chance that you won't probably never use the inner screen because you get used to the outer screen being accessible and more comfortable
That is true. I keep opening the Zfold6 to use it as I dont like the outer display. One of the reason I am thinking of Pixel 9 Fold Pro is to use the pure Android foldable experience.
@@alishafique1pixel fold is a fire device as well! I use the front screen a lot and also open it up as well when I’m chilling. So the inside screen will get used on the pixel fold. Guarantee it. I have both devices. They Both have their cons and pros. Every other week I switch my SIM card out between the two.
Wow. I just unboxed the galaxy Fold 9 pro and I love the bigger outer display. So much better than fold6. Pixel is the closest iPhone experience I think in android.
I get the bigger outer screen but i like the fact that its pocketable and one handed use is perfect.
I don't like using the outerer display because of the narrowness. Thinking of getting pixel fold pro as it has a wider display

It's a Samsung Z fold phone how is it supposed to connect to MacBooks like an iPhone would. Even if it is able to connect it may take some time. Come on , get out of it man. Btw no hates😅
