It's hard to predict, but it's sure to be interesting.
As a teenager I was diagnosed by one of the top psychological in-patient clinics within the U.S. with the worst case of teenage depression that they had ever seen walk through their doors. I was diagnosed with chronic major depressive disorder, along with a myriad of disorders, and told that I would struggle for the rest of my life with the issues bestowed upon me neurochemically. While sections of this remain true, it really did not help in my recovery process to know that I would never be able to climb out of the hole entirely. It felt so defeating to be stamped as permanently, and irrevocably broken. Why should I try then if my fate is written in the stars of despair?
Out of sheer curiosity, what do you think - is Murthy's Law (belief in it or the frequency that a person experiences it) connected to whether a person has an internal or external locus of control?
I think people often say "Murphy's law" to overcome such negative situations, but I don't really believe that there is such a law. It's just that everyone has been in these situations more than once, so the proverbial "law" has become a law.Thanks for asking.
They diagnosed me with bi polar and schizoaffective before I was 18. Which is highly frowned upon. Drugged me up on pills and I was in and out hospitals my whole youth. I now will never know if I was truly sick, just a hormonal teen or what. Because after those pills and the things I went through in the hospital I think i left with genuine problems.
Yes, unfortunately at that time some hospitals could not correctly identify the cause of psychological disorders, but now this situation is gradually improving. I hope everything will be better for you.🙏
I've never heard of this experiment and find it incredibly interesting. The question remains: how do we confirm if someone is truly ill, or just fine? I think the subjective nature of psychology and the human factor of individuality will keep us from finding the answer, for now at least.
Nah, in 100 years the planet could be a nuclear wasteland. Or if everyone has no work and everything is automated, then money will be pointless, and things will just be freely available, and people will be free to follow their passions.
I really don't think technology "advancing" in these ways is a good thing. Especially with AI. Also I don't think the idea of digital currency being the only currency is a good thing at all. It sounds to me like technology "advancing" is just going to keep people unemployed and broke. Also, if no one is employed, then what is everyone going to do? As they say, "Idle hands do the devil's work". It just sounds like we're going to be overpowered by AI, broke, bored, crime ridden, and government dependent.

That was a great video, and a fantastic view of what could be possible for our future. Now make a video on how we can eliminate a few obstacles so that humanity will be able to achieve this. 1- How to immediately eliminate all chemicals that are intentionally placed into our food, water, and air, and to protect our DNA from further damage. 2- Publicly investigate and imprison all communists and stop dangerous communist ideas from permeating society. 3- AI might never be able to become a senient being, to think, feel, or have intuition or shame, or pride, or love, or fear, or a conscience. I would focus on excellent programming first, then maybe in a strict controlled inviroment, we can try playing god with AI. 4- We already have a guy in Missouri that can forecast earthquakes around the world. I have studied his work going back over 12 years and he gets ir right more often than not. 5- Many more topics to cover, but I ain't writing no book. Lol
