That looks easy to start! I wonder if they ever backfire (fire backwards and drive the kickstarter back up with the human standing on it)?
Gerry had just had a hip replacement and was happy to jump on the kick-starter without fear of kick back. The Tri-Spark Classic Twin ignition is designed for easy starting without kick back.
That is a good feature of the Tri-Spark then! I had a BSA 441 Shooting Star back in the '70s, and the thing kicked back once and tore the boot off my foot! Because the ignition fires before top dead centre (BTDC), the posibillity of kick-back is there, and I've often wondered why it can't be made so that the ignition only fires after top dead centre (ATDC) when the engine is being started, thus eliminating the possibility of kick-back. So Tri-Spark has solved the problem!
what about power "noise"? say running a transceiver radio
Not sure what your question is in relation too. A transceiver radio can make noise that may affect electronics
I installed a tri-spark ignition on my 850 Norton Commando and I can start it with one kick wearing house slippers. Best motorcycle ignition available.
