I record freight trains of all speeds. As long as it has one car and one engine, I record. It becomes a video on my channel if I can get the whole freight train without it stopping. Also, there can only be one freight train in each of my videos. If an intercity type train such as Max, street car, or any other inter city passenger type train in other cities shows up in my videos, that's fine. If a train ever stops or another freight train appears in my video, the video is ruined. I do NOT edit my videos. All my videos are Strickley as is!!!! Couple other things, I don't do lite moves, nor do I do non intercity passenger trains such as Amtrak. An Amtrak showing up in my videos will ruin the video !!!
Union Pacific Train about to go under the Steel Bridge of Portland, Oregon Oct. 06, 2024
I was standing on the Steele bridge and as I began filming this south going Union Pacific Freight Train as it goes under the Steel Bridge itself. This is near the Rose Quarter area and on the east bank of the Willamette River in the east part of Portland, Oregon !!

A short Sunday type of UP Mix train. I was actually able to get over 7 minutes out of this which is a little long for a Sunday train in this area, so no complaints as this is my first upload in 15 days and the first in 24 damn.. First uploaded material in more than a week. I was met by this Mix Frieght Train @ SE Stark St. of Portland Oregon as it was pulled south by Union Pacific on the Brookly Subdivision in the Southeast part of Portland, Oregon. I managed to make it to SE Washington St. during the filming of said train !!!

Coming in from the North is a UP Mixed Freight Train, which is about to go east on the Graham line via the East Portland Juncture. The juncture is just west of the NE Grand Ave. Overpass where I am standing to record this slow movement !! All this is in Portland, Oregon ! Note: I also have a food channel called Eats! You will find adds to this channel in the Cards and the End Screen

I followed this UP Mix Freight Train will walking on the Eastbank Esplanade in Portland Oregon. I was going south first on the Portland Subdivision, and then on the Brookly Subdivision via the East Portland Juncture.

My last shot of the day is of a North going Union Pacific Train going under the Steel Bridge !! So, I wasn't able to keep myself from dropping my camera, and now my video's don't have sound. Sorry guess, it's gonna be awhile before I upload videos again, If I ever upload videos again !!!

I like the Russian railroad crossing because it has that ramp buffer that pops up to stop cars from running on to the tracks and they also have a tower at railroad crossings in China and Russia. 🇨🇳🇷🇺
This is why Thomas Has Narrators From only 2 English speaking countries. The US And UK only. The main reason is because the Canadian and Australian Viewers for Thomas would understand more US English than The English in the UK. Every word they use for rail industries for Australians and Canadians would be closer to the Americans than Brits Except the word railroad. This is why when you go to Canada they do not use the Railroad crossing as their crossbuck sign, instead they put Traffic signs without words. And that includes the train crossing with a red on the edge of the crossbuck.

The P&W Switching Freight Cars reminds me of Thomas Shunting His Trucks(British Word for Freight Cars).
Countries that use the word Trucks for Rail Wagons is like going to a country like Canada that says Railway not railroad. Or saying the word trousers instead of pants.
I like P&W Railroad as one of the best Shortline railroads
The real Main Reason why I decided to like Shortline Railroads instead of Mainline Railroads is because they are not as frequent and they are not a lot of work for the engineers on the mainline. Because if you are working on the mainline, you have to be on a locomotive for days when traveling from city to city because if you look at Chicago to Los Angeles, it will be days before arrival. But with Shortlines that not a lot of days because you are traveling between shorter distances between counties instead of interstate travel.
I just find the Class 1's boring at times. I like the sound of the smaller engines which tent to be used more on the smaller railroads

For 10 years I lived right above the tunnel in the new Columbia apartments I'd go down just above the entrance of the tunnel and watch the trains come in and out 😊

I’ve been enjoying your channel, it’s more fun to watch trains roll through places you know so thank you for posting. I’m new to this and would love some advice on how to track or figure out trains out of the yards. Someone posted it was the ZBRG2 to Chicago but how do you find that out? So far I’ve just been learning from TH-cam but am going to start looking online any advice would be welcomed. Thanks again for all your great videos I really like the series where you followed the train up the gorge.
