Good talk, thank you Mr Dowd.
"now that's what I call a lecture!" thank you
I believe Winston Churchill died of an std although his greatest moment was on a train asking the general public for their advice and the advice he received was they would prefer to die rather than submit to hi hitler 😂and in my eyes he was a brilliant and intelligent man and he would be very disappointed with people like keir starmer selling his beautiful England 🇬🇧
India has protectionist policies since independence but I am yet to see any groundbreaking innovation in our industries which could help them at least match the western standards. Corruption is an important factor to consider but what about private enterprises which get lazy knowing that they won't face competition from superior imports? They don't have incentive to constantly innovate and modernize as they know people can't access foreign goods. It in fact created a technological gap in almost every aspect of manufacturing. I'm not in favour of completely free trade as I believe every foreign company must pay something to access foreign countries but that should be like 10%
Raw materials should be free though
Hannan being excellent as always
Well done, thanks for bringing Johan to a wider audience. Good work, Johan. “All the problems of the man who fears for his humanity come down to the same question: how to remain free?” Stefan Zweig
What if I was to say the root of the difficulties we face can be found in our monetary system?
It is an absolute shame that central banks do not use the broad quantity theory of money as their main indicator of the economy via nominal gdp. Ultimately I feel that if they did, then most central bankers would be obsolete and this is why they do not use it as their main indicator, they still use interest rates because they give the impression that they are wise guardians of the financial system. Hence why inflation/deflation is always blamed on something else rather than their own incompetence.
This is soft fascism. Disparage learning, keep the peasants ignorant, dominate with brute force. We are now in the legal phase of fascism, i.e. justice will be subverted in court rooms before judges purchased by oligarchs and laws preventing the rights of the masses and ending democracy.
Very good

What can we do to make the value of life higher?
240 views - is that all? Terrible. There should be 2,000,000 views. Bloody teaching unions. What a joke they are. And yes let's get some low-cost private schools into the mix to shake up state education. Excellent stuff.
Inaccurate-More than 26 million bushels of grain were exported from Ireland to England in 1845- a 'famine' year- it was colonisation that lead to mass starvation. One cannot explain globalisation without looking at colonisation.
