i totally understood the iron flame one! it felt like i was reading a couple different books that were just smashed into one, it was super busy with lots going on. i forget that xaden and violet were having to fly to each other and them creating a bigger resistance was even part of the same book. however i will be continuing the series only because i curious to how the storyline will go, and i’ve already invested money into it, i will say i do have high hopes for the next book hoping yarros did some justice for the characters and book in general after iron flame, especially since she delayed onyx storms release date by another year.

@@tritony-ry4bf it’s still worth a shot if you’re super interested in it. I just feel like there has to be better hockey romance out there!!🤭 you could get it from the library or borrow it? Maybe not worth a purchase tho
For me, the most overhyped book was The Cruel Prince. Like, idk it was just boring in a way.

I'm really excited to read Iron Flame and Fourth Wing, and hopefully the whole series, but I have to disagree with Icebreaker. While it was more adult based, I loved the twists and turns.

I absolutely loved Happy Place and can’t wait to read Funny Story. I’ve been hearing good things about the Hex Ex and going to pick it up in October to match the vibe. That throne of glass edition is beautiful! I loved the haul and just subscribed.
I love Happy Place too! I enjoyed Funny Story too but it wasn’t quite as great for me. And yaasss I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on the Ex Hex, it kinda reminds me of a Disney Channel movie but in adult form. So happy to have you here 🤗💛

Love the pirate emphasis, which I know is surprising 😂 I'm working through the Red Rising series at the moment, but my tbr is just steadily growing on the side - how do you narrow down what you actually read from your tbr?
Such a good question! Once I’ve created a tbr for the next few months, I’m in a better spot to get started! Once I have that complete, I break it down by week and try to plan what I need & want to read each week (depending on book clubs, release days, etc.)
