Thank you for sharing your memories of Disney Springs! I remember PI was fun back in the day. I remember that balloon had Kermit the Frog on it before this blue makeover. Ghirardelli’s used to give out free samples but I haven’t seen anyone handing them out as of lately. I favored the old WOD design than the current one but it’s still not horrible. I was surprised to see that they actually had Dole Whips at DS so that was refreshing. I have another DS video out there where we ate at the Boathouse and where I fell in love with their firecracker shrimp. You’ve got to try it! I want to thank you for letting me know how much you enjoy my POV walkthrough videos. Sometimes I feel like people might not be interested in that, but I just love to share the fun I’m having which is why I do these. @@livingincentralflorida407 We still call it Downtown Disney, I get what you are saying, a couple years ago, we only had time to see the "newer Part" where that Balloon guy hangs out daily, it looks like a Mall now, like the Jax Mall-the same ole same ole are the only ones that can afford the sky high rents, Alot of the mom/pop businesses although they were raking in the $$ I see they are gone! Where our kids played games for long hours was 3 floors, virtually reality, etc etc do you know what place that is now, is that the Big Brewery> I was trying to remember the places-coming over the bridge from the "old pleasure island back into DD, there was a Movie Prop House Store, that was amazing, they were there for years. We hung out at Celebration and our go to Rest There is still Columbia. We have been staying now in St Augustine, and coming up for a day or two now since the kids are grown. Hubby keeps saying the place isn't the same, I think too is because the kids are grown and don't travel with us anymore, and it isn't the same<>Ty!!I remember going into Ghardellis's in/out a couple times to get the samples with my dad, we always laughed about that-don't they recoginize us?! Prob Corp realized that they have hundreds of thousands over the years and pulled back. I see that Peanut Moose(s) I think that's where Chef Mickey's Kitchen was? We took pictures with those characters and our kids right there on each trek. I really can't wait to get back, watching all the vlogs, we usually ate in Morocco, that was pretty nice, there's a Cafe, the bigger Rest was okay, but the Cafe seemed to be less money. Are those two places still there?

I'm also glad you did ok and yes...much praise out to the line men and women working round the clock to make things right. Hurricane Charley was my first hurricane and it was a bad one. Never a dull moment in this here Florida!

Thank you. It's sad, but the truth is...there are quite a few unhoused out here. Is the Mt. Dora lighthouse similar to this one in Kissimmee? Can you climb up that one or is it tiny like this one?

@@livingincentralflorida407 They are so similar that until I realized there were no park benches around the light house, I couldn't tell the difference. Also the Mt.Dora park is definitely smaller.

I'm not super sure, I was reading online that in 2010 there was some fire damage and then there are some commercial real estate sites where it appears to have been sold back in 2016. I seem to be getting so many differing names for this hotel now. I'm seeing Kon-Tiki Village, Econolodge and America's Best Value Inn. I'm gonna have to go there at some point this year to see what all is there now. Maybe I can even do a quick video? Who knows? 🙂

In the near future, I’d like to showcase places like Saint Cloud, Melbourne, Clermont, and maybe, even, Davenport. As far as the areas around the Embassy Suites, I see some construction happening because it looks like some luxury housing is going up at some point (per their signage). It was last summer when I visited Orange World. I did hear that there was a fire that damaged most of the inside and some of the merch. They did say they will fix it all up and reopen once they do. For now, they are taking cash sales of the fruit they had outside and still take the online orders in the meantime. I thought it was so crazy that I wait a year to upload my videos and the week that I upload it, finally, I hear about the fire. Wow! Right? I can’t wait to see how they fix it all up and how it will look once they reopen. I might need to do another video when all that happens. Thanks for watching and commenting!😃
