Hey, thanks for watching! Admittedly, I wanted to do something similar that others like Munoken and AnimeSonic have done in the past, and whilst I am kind of on and off when it comes to recording something, it feels fun doing so when I do get an opportunity to record whatever goes down within Ring Racers.

Unfortunately, right now the pack this map comes from isn’t on the message board, so it seems as though you might have to find a server that’s hosting it (Kiritsu Pack is the name for it) and directly download it from there.

Oh yeah, I had completely forgotten about it being in Mean Bean Machine. Guess that’s one that slipped my mind at the time, especially considering how V1 used the GaMetal remix Jonny Atma did some years ago that had it explicitly titled as the two-player theme. A reminder that I should familiarize myself with every source from now on.

Fundamentally, my usage of rings tends to lean more towards maintaining my speed throughout the race (especially in cases where I will have to spend some when climbing up slopes and if I find myself off-road), but I generally blame myself for having a trigger finger that contributes to my reckless spending. Won’t lie when I say it would be better to deny others from them, especially considering there are other ways to catch up should I find myself falling behind.

It’s a fan game called Dr. Robotnik’s Ring Racers, and it pretty much embodies what made kart racers so popular back within the 90s whilst including its own set of mechanics that make it stand out more compared to the others you’d find out there.

Maybe, but at least according to some research regarding the etymology surrounding it, Carbuncle originates from the Vulgate's Latin translation of the Septuagint's Greek term Anthrax, which is in reference to the color of burning coal. In other words, it's usually taken to mean a gem of a deep-red garnet color, hence why most Carbuncle iterations across the franchise tend to be decorated with red gems on their heads, with this game and Final Fantasy XV being the most notable among them. Yeah, it's one hell of a history lesson, but it's an interest of mine learning about some of these names.

Sadly, it's something that isn't really achieved through an addon (least as far as I know), so the only way you're going to see it in use if you were to play on the server where it comes from, The Stardust Zone. Should also mention I didn't make it since I lack talent in graphic design.

Yeah, I'm aware of that. I just find it more enjoyable to play against other people.

If I'm not mistaken, the new update says that you no longer to port forawtd to make a lobby am I correct?

@@gustavochavarria8161 That's what I've been told. Apparently now people are able to host servers through holepunching, so there's no need to go through some tedious process of trying to establish a port of some kind.

@@voidedterms will you help me out with this sometime? I got some art to show you. I tried to make a lobby but I'm not sure if it was working.
