This figure and Tardis were my childhood now Iâm older Iâve gone back and got all the sets I wanted but couldnât afford even the 12th Doctorâs Tardis which cost me far too much money

I found an 11th Doctor TARDIS in a vintage toy store earlier this year. Got it home and found that it didn't work, and discovered that heavily corroded batteries were the cause. 20 minutes of swabbing with some double strength vinegar later and she works like a charm.
Same sort of thing happened to me with my 10th doctor console room. The console didnât work cause the batteries had been left in and they leaked but I messed around with the batteries and fixed it. Glad you fixed your TARDIS
Nice! My 10th Doctor console playset originally came with several broken parts, including a console that lit up but made no sound. Wound up replacing that with a console that works, but needs a piece of foil in one of the battery slots because one of the springs is rusted and broken. I've also been slowly trying to either repair or replace the other broken pieces.
