Andrew, it's a great diving beetle larvae.
Looks like a larger dragonfly larva 💧💦🌍
@@pango-y8j yeah, that's the conclusion I'm now coming to! I thought it was too big when I was out, but think my scale was off! Plenty of Emperors around so I think that was probably it.
👍🙂 great footage...
That sounds pretty Good.
i like the part where bird
Love this
Thanks for posting. I was watching this yesterday but had not spotted the falcon. A wonderful display
Were you one of the people who stopped to chat? Maybe I was talking to you, I was the guy with a scope!
Nice and beaitiful video. Thanks for sharing & big like
I believe I saw a short on this, and this sequence of notes is this specific bird's call. Something about this bird living in the same region as the band who wrote the song, and the writers potentially hearing this and making it into this song (perhaps inadvertently). But ye, according to that one short whose creator I do not remember, the Turdus Merula blackbird is not singing Barbie Girl-- Barbie is singing the birdcall of Turdus Merula.
Isn't it more likely that's it's just a coincidence? It's only a very short sequence.
@@AndrewMcCaffertyXerxesThe band is from Dennark, which is also home to the common Eurasian Blackbird. In some way or another, the band used the blackbird melody as hook.
@@AndrewMcCaffertyXerxes No, Considering the way they purposefully included a bird in the music video as a nod to said bird, I'm almost positive it was a result of hearing the bird call so many times.
Nice and beautiful video. Thanks for sharing & Big like
Tuyệt vời
Fantastic!
Les gens qui se disent qu'elle joue faux .. Prokofiev : chuttt
Great capture, great singer..
Brava
Nice.
I love how she plays, but unfortunately I hate this song because it sounds like someone just plays "something", but I still love how she plays it right
I'll be sure to give Prokofiev your feedback when I see him next :-)
@@AndrewMcCaffertyXerxes oh I meant "unfortunately can't play this song", oh man, this damn autocorrect
@@danieru974 Ah I see! Well, it is pretty insanely difficult. I sometimes have a go at the first page, it's fun to see if I can do the 7/4 (or 7/8, can't remember which) aspect of it!

Genius!
Wonderful🤩😍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Beautiful - a touch of the divine. Thank you.
Is this the version the King's Singers do? I wondered where they'd got it from.
I think the camera's got dislodged, sorry folks! I might have to take it offline and try again...
I feel like you missed à trick here by not putting this at the end of an arthouse movie, and playing some downbeat piano over the top, maybe with a French accented monologue talking about death for effect 😄
Excuse me, there are clearly way more than tree.
Begorrah, you're right, to be sure

I like to do this at concerts 😄
This song brings out the best of your voice, Andrew.
Thanks! Yes, it seems to sit in a good range, no tight trousers needed...
I just introduced this to a friend and she's been enjoying playing it too. Always great to hear it!
Very nice. I was thinking of recording that too.
Lovely.
Though that first bar always makes me expect the Hokey Cokey.
Wow! In the right key as well.
I should probably become his agent
I've always loved this sonata! Beautifully played both of you! :)
Thanks Amy! I was going to record my bits of the first and third movements the other day, but I found they were too scrappy! Maybe another day...
:)
Took me twenty seconds before I realised I was watching this at 1.5 speed.
I decided to take your advice. I almost feel it's improved. Although vibrato at 1.5 is a little bit strange...
@@AndrewMcCaffertyXerxes Just don't try it at 0.5.
I don't know this. Lovely.
Thanks! It's a flute staple. We'll probably do the first and third movements at some stage, I just realised I was a bit out of practice!
Wonderful! very up lifting and nostalgic. Great to finally hear Gabby play. :D
If you take requests, some Studio Ghibli themes would be lovely. hehe ^^
So glad I was there to see this!!!
my dude with the purple hair is feeling it more than Lisitsa lmfao
Wow!!!!!
crap played
Marcus Tibbs Thank you for your in-depth insight, much appreciated.
I don't think that Flanders & Swann have any otter songs.
What's your favourite animal?
I'm still a little bit curious about what your favourite Flanders & Swann song is. Perhaps if you give me a few clues about the song. I might just be able to guess what the song might be.
Ruth Barron Well, the Armadillo of course!
Oh yeah I know that 1. But why is that your favourite may I ask.
