I lived nearby for years off of Hyperion and Sunset. Good place to start, but to my mind the Vista theater was never considered a part of the Los Feliz district. You need to go up farther on Hillhurst to be in the Los Feliz area. By the way Leonardo DiCaprio lived on Hillhurst with his mother when he attended nearby John Marshall High School, the school I attended in the 1960s. The Messhall Kitchen use to be Michaels's restaurant after it had been a Brown Derby.

I lived in Los Angeles and attended John Marshall High School not far from Los Feliz Blvd. I watched them film the Carnival scene on our football field in the movie Grease. Also, actor Nike Nolte sat on our goal post in a scene from the ABC TV series Rich Man Poor Man. Saw many of those houses shown in the video. Los Feliz was a favorite location for the studios back in the 1960s and 1970s.
