Cambro Gobox Review
There are several must have items for anyone who caters, grills or just likes to have the right tools for the job. Whether you need to transport food to another location, or need to keep your food at a safe temperature, the @cambromfg CAM Gobox gets it done. I have used this box several times to hold safe temperatures when cooking for large events. Like demonstrated in this video, I use the box to let meat rest several hours after the cook. I have use this product for the past year and can’t say enough good things about it. Pick one up, they are affordable and worth the investment.

A customer purchased a Versa Top griddle and it had a faulty igniter. Camp Chef sent him a new one and after he installed it the problem continued. I love the challenge of doing better than your last cook. My briskets have gotten better each time. Just like anything else, practice makes perfect. Easy Ribs

I used my @campchef pursuit smoker to cook two full racks of ribs. One was flavored in @sucklebuster Hog Waller Homey and the other in @johnhenrysbbq Sugar Maple. @duckfatspray was used as the binder and they were marked with @grillpinz. . . I smoked them for three hours at 180°. After wrapping them in foil, I bumped it up to 225° for another two hours. Added some barbecue sauce and finished it...

This was a fun experiment. You can use your smoker on the lowest setting and add a tray of ice to keep the temp cool. Or you can use a smoke tube. It was my first time and it came out awesome. Remember to let the cheese rest a week or more so the flavor is not too strong

This is my best brisket so far. Smoked all night at 180° and then bumped it up to 275° when I woke up. After the stall, I wrapped and pulled off at an IT of 206°. Let it rest wrapped on the counter until the IT dropped to 145°. Then sliced. The @thermoworks pen is a must for getting the job done. . That tiny grease trough will overflow when cooking a lot of burgers or bacon. This thing seems like the one to get but me being a professional cook for many years, I already know that’s going to be a major problem. It would be nice to see this unit with a more professional and larger grease trough.

So what I have learned with smoking cheese on a pellet grill and I have done a lot ..People have actually asked me for my card thinking I own a business..LOL Put on top rack, I use those cookie tray deals so there not on the grate direct. To keep temp down I us a tin with ice in it below ..This really helps...Depending on how much smoke you want depends on how long you keep it there. Me I do mine around 4 hours and always check and flip here and there. After there done I take them off and let them sweat.. Pat down and then vacuum seal for up to two weeks. And enjoy. Longer you vacuum seal the stronger the smoke flavor. Ps smoke horseradish cheese ...OMG so good ...Best if luck
So far, none of the video show how to level the flat top. Looks like there are only adjustment screws on the right side of the griddle. What if it tilts to the left? Do the adjustment screws on the right side adjust up and down?

where you get the grease pan aluminum inserts?
New grills comes with 2 pans, one for drip pan on the griddle and one for the drip pan under the grill itself.

Hello! What’s the highest temp you have hit on your smoker on high setting ?
You can reach 550 easily in the smoker. However , with the sliding grill technology, you can climb even higher than that. The grill box or sear box attachment will let you get to the 800+.

I think you're slicing that wrong. That's with the grain, no? Usually, you slice tri-tip in half, rotate, then slide vs. grain..or am i seeing it wrong? Also ,how long did you have to wait for it to come up to temp for the sear?

You mentioned doing an initial seasoning. I thought these Camp Chef griddle tops were pre-seasoned?
Chris Harmon they are already seasoned. You don’t have to do it at all. However,, it speeds up the patina process that you want to build up on it.
Yum prime rib. Looks like you may need to adjust the mixture on your sidekick burner - or maybe you adjusted it at some point. Started out pretty yellow, but was more blue toward the end. I'm trying to decide between the sidekick and sear station. I'm leaving towards the sear station.
I just ordered one. Decided for the Sidekick since the grill attachment can get to ~750F searing temps anyway, and I like the flexibility to have a burner/griddle/pizza/propane grill as well.
It’s my understanding of you get the sidekick regular, you can order a seat box that drops in place. But now you have that option to go back to plain sidekick. Plus a pizza over drop in option and a flat griddle option. Check that out before you go dedicates dear box. I’m looking at pulling the trigger on a woodwind also. Good luck.

I have one question in the instructions is that how camp chef stated to just place the propane canister in the bag all,loose like that because that seems to be an accident waiting to happen because only you know it's in there and others don't IJS
sarrel48 I would agree with just placing it in the bag. If storage was tight, it’s something you can do but would need to make sure you took it out!
Not many videos showing the FTG900. I just ordered mine 3 days ago. Is that bottle opener standard with the 900? I don't see it on the website showing the 900.
