Just the fact that you were bolted in that thing from the outside and with absolutely no way to escape, would have been enough for me to say no. I can’t think of anything more terrifying than that, even if it was never even put in the water.

Why did they use carbon fiber? “Carbon fiber can be difficult to detect signs of damage that indicate it's about to fail. When it does fail, it can shatter suddenly and catastrophically, unlike other materials that bend or buckle. If damaged, it needs to be replaced instead of repaired like metal. Carbon fiber's complex fiber architecture can make stress analysis and design more difficult. Designers and analysts may need formal training in areas like finite element analysis, polymer engineering, and fracture mechanics.”

The damage to the carbon fiber was accumulative every time it dived it lost some strength. They heard popping sounds on previous dives. With carbon fiber compression is not its best situation. Air tanks are often made with carbon fiber but the force is tension not compression. Stockton Rush was over confidant and did not take instruction from other people it's too bad he had to take others with him. He should have been alone in that tank.

Bullshit on the blue hearts. Even the tiniest fraction of the money spent trying to recover wreckage and remains of rich folks we ALREADY KNEW WERE DEAD would change the lives of hundreds if not thousands of people. Hubris and more money than sense led to 5people flaunting physics and trying to dive to the bottom of the ocean like “heroes” taking along hapless victims (such as Sulemon). And think about how that recovery funding could have saved people drowning elsewhere such as the hundreds of Pakistanis that drowned in the med when a migrant vessel sank that very same week. But nooo, let’s “remember” these rich idiots that chose to take their wealth on a side quest and get imploded instead of helping people so poor that they risk an overcrowded boat to find a better life.

When I was 11 years old, I'm 58 now, I had made two model submarines from household items for a school project. I used plastic pipe for the hull and I then glued pop can bottoms has end caps on each end. Long story short when I demonstrated in front of my science class in an aquarium, the end caps came off while submerged. True story.

Ok. So. This was supposed to be about pirates attacking submarines and it morphed into drug cartels using narco subs, then back to Somali pirates but them attacking US warships. Then back to narco submarines only with somehow the pirates trying to possibly following the narco submarines to exploit a possible maintenance issue. Then it went to an attack on a US missle cruiser and subsequent short, very...very short gunfight. Basically, this was about the superiority of naval submarines vs Somali pirates. But, there is no reason for you to make a video about submarines and pirates as there has not been a single attack on a naval submarines by a pirate vessel in the history of ever. You bounced around all over the map and it made no sense for you to even bring up narco submarines at all.
