Watch the New Zealand Embassy in Washington DC perform Ngā Ara by The Harmonic Resonators. This was performed as part of a Te Wiki o te Reo Māori Language Week waiata competition, where the NZ Embassy in Washington took first place with this Te Reo Māori rendition of John Denver's Take Me Home, Country Roads.

    John loved Aotearoa and travelled here regularly to enjoy our great outdoors he was particularly fond of the Maori traditions he encountered and the trout fishery . I have no doubt John would love this version and would bless it if he could.
