To comment below "Can't get handle to release"..Figured it out. CAUTION! When you reinstall the handle, be careful you do NOT accidentally flip "down" the black lever the lock arm sits over. The horizontal lever should be in the most "up" position. After staring at the old one long enough - the lightbulb went on. Not obvious but, that simple think kept the new latch from working. Don't know how to post two pictures Correct and Incorrect setup. Send comment and I'll email.

I just replaced this mechanism, 2nd one in 16 years BUT, I can't get the handle to release the pull rods that go to the side of the tailgate. Ideas?

Great video! TIPS: start oil change with a warm- hot engine for best drain viscosity. Be careful it’s hot. When taking a read of oil after the change, once the cars started is not the optimal time to check so allowing a few minutes for the oil to settle for most accurate reading.

This is known as (VSS-A). It's the output sensor. If you have a speedometer not working, this is usually the problem. Can be confusing. Code is P0500 Hope this helps.

I'm following your recipe for the 2nd time today. I've been removing the rubber bands and freezing the whole Costco chicken leftovers in their new bags. (Still miss the plastic containers) Anyway, the frozen chicken just slides out of the new bags so I'll never throw out the half eaten chickens again. It fits in the 8 qt version. I also cook up some egg noodles and have roasted chicken soup for the week. Thank you very much!

We just got ours and it makes a funny noise after it dispenses the ice. Does yours do that? We haven't had it for more than 24 hours

I can’t get the oil bolt off
